As we wrap up our time at Vetokuja. We wanted to say a big thank you to all those who supported us on this journey. We have proven that there is a market for our concept and proposition. We will regroup and look at restarting in a new location once a suitable site is found. Again thanks to our customers, partners, staff and shareholders.

Cricket season is now just around the corner here in Finland. We have our first order of premium white 4 piece 156 Gram cricket balls on the way with an expected arrival date of around 10 May.

Meet Jake — the heartbeat of our Playbox centre! 🏏⚾⚽
A teacher by trade and a swing bowler by passion, Jake brings the same energy to our courts and fields as he does to the classroom. Hailing from Sydney and proudly representing Rooty Hill RSL CC, he's been playing cricket since 2003 and still chasing that next wicket haul (7/9 in an innings — yes, really!).
When he's not coaching or running the show at Playbox, you'll find him keeping tabs on baseball, golf, rugby league, football, and basketball. Basically, if it involves a ball, Jake's in.
His motto? "This is not your practice life." — and that says everything you need to know about the standard he sets every single day.
We're lucky to have you, Jake! 🙌

📢 An Urgent Appeal from Playbox: Help Us Keep Finnish Sport Alive! 📢

Dear Playbox Community and Supporters of Finnish Sport,

We poured our hearts, years of planning, and significant personal investment into creating Playbox – Finland's unique indoor multi-sport centre. It's a place where cricket, football, baseball, and many other sports can be played and trained all year round, regardless of Finland's challenging winters. We've seen incredible growth and become a vital hub for athletes of all ages and levels.

However, like many new ventures, we're facing a critical challenge: rent arrears from our initial opening phase. To protect everything we've built and ensure Playbox remains open for the entire community, we need your immediate support.

Why Your Help Matters:
Playbox is more than just a building. It's the only place where many Finnish sports can thrive during the long winter months. Losing it would be a massive setback for the development of these sports in Finland.
