It's time for the first ARWS Junior Adventure Racing World Championship at Raid Témiscamingue in Quebec, Canada.

Given the race was only announced 8 months ago, its taken a huge cooperative effort to get to this point where 38 U18 and U25 teams are now arriving for the race from 10 countries.

The ARWS - Adventure Racing World Series, Temiscamingue region, Endurance Aventure, International Adventure Racing Association and national AR associations have all played their part to make it happen.

It's a milestone event for adventure racing.

Young racers from 10 countries 🌍 are making their final preparations and getting ready to travel to Canada 🇨🇦 for 3 days of intense competition which will decide our new U18 and U25 champions. The Maine Summer Adventure Race is always one of the most popular in the USA and this year celebrates it's 10th anniversary.

There is a strong line up of teams including Rootstock Racing, Rib Mountain Racing and Strong Machine Adventure Racing so it should be close!

Teams are arriving for 3.5 days of ARWS Expedition stage racing with Raid the Rockies.

Raid Bimbache will be back next year and once again it will be Morocco.

This time it will be in cooler climates of the northern coast and the Rif Mountains, and it's very accessible to European teams via a one hour flight or fast ferries.

The current European Champions, Lane4 Adventure Team, defended their race title at last weekend's Endurance Quest.

In hot conditions they finished well ahead of their nearest challengers, but don't plan on defending their European title. Instead they will concentrate on preparation for the World Championship in Corsica.
