It is HERE. Finally 🩵 A journey through the five elements of Chinese medicine, explored through Yin Yoga.

Five 40-minute classes: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal.

Yin is so much more than stretching. It’s a practice of relating to yourself, your body and the world around you.

Comment “ELEMENTS” and I’ll send you the link.

I wish more people knew that investing in Yin and slow, restorative, yet deeply mindful practice opens up space for creativity, depth and manifestation.

When you practice something as simple as Sphinx Pose or a gentle spinal twist, and you truly sense the ground beneath you, feel your organs, your breath and your inner landscape, you’re giving your body the time and conditions for repatterning.

This kind of awareness can’t be rushed. It unfolds through presence, curiosity and time.

The more I study the body, the more convinced I become that our greatest resource isn’t flexibility, it’s our capacity to perceive ourselves. When we deepen that relationship, creativity flows more freely, our intuition becomes clearer and we begin to respond to life from a different place.

This is one of the many reasons I keep returning to Yin. It’s a practice that continues to reveal new layers, no matter how many years you’ve been doing it.

If you’re curious to experience Yin beyond passive stretching, I’d love to welcome you into Lunar Yin this September. We have three places remaining, and I’d be honoured to share this practice with you. 🌙 Link in bio!

Join us for four days in the beautiful nature of Finnish Lapland, on a retreat designed to create space for recovery, reflection and inspiration.

Together with Jänkä Resort, we’ve created an experience that blends yoga, movement, meditation and restorative practices with thoughtfully prepared meals, time in nature and moments to simply be.

Rather than filling every hour, we’ve intentionally left space in the schedule. Relax in your private sauna, soak in the outdoor hot tub, wander through the forests of Ylläs or simply enjoy the quiet from your premium villa.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your yoga practice, step away from a busy season of life, or experience the beauty and grounding energy of Lapland, this retreat welcomes you exactly as you are. Open to all levels.

📍 Ylläs, Finnish Lapland
🗓️ 20–23 November 2026
➡️ 4-day retreat from €1490

Our group will be kept intentionally small. If you’d like to join us, you’ll find all the details through the link in bio 🤍

I didn’t always like Yin.

I felt uncomfortable with the passive way I experienced it. It just didn’t resonate.

One of my first teaching gigs in Reykjavík was actually subbing for a Yin teacher, and I hadn’t even completed a single Yin training myself.

I remember scrolling the internet, looking at different asanas.

But I think the main problem was that I simply hadn’t practiced it that much. I’d been to a few Yin classes and thought, it’s just nice, passive stretching.

If I’m honest, I found it boring.

The classes actually went great. I offered more movement than what maybe traditional Yin Yoga has (something I still do today), and I realised how much I loved the resonance of stillness.

Yin Yoga has continued to evolve for me. It has never been just one thing. Yes, you learn stillness.

But you also learn the movement of life.
Energy. Qi. Yourself.

Teaching it opens space for intuition, for feeling the room, and for co-creating with the students.

And in the silence, the words the teacher chooses become that much more important.

I sit with the label Yin a lot.
The thing is, Yin always comes with Yang. You know the symbol right?

Sometimes even the term Yin Yoga feels limiting, because it’s all relative. It’s all relationship.

And this is why we created Lunar Yin.
Because your body isn’t linear. We are cyclical, fluid creatures. There isn’t a single straight line in nature, or in our bodies.

I believe we were always meant to be honoured in our own experience.

Dreaming of teaching?
Come join our 100HR Lunar Yin Yoga Teacher Training, starting this September.

An extensive curriculum that expands far beyond the “traditional,” while deeply honouring its roots.

This week I had the honor of being part of hosting the first ever women’s event with 💎

There was something really inspiring about being in a space with women following their dreams, leading, creating, building businesses and lives in their own way, and cheering each other on through it all.

Especially grateful to & for reaching out to me. Getting to hold space together with Emilia for three different groups during the weekend felt really special. It was a reminder that connection & empowerment goes hand in hand ♥️

Biggest thank you to everyone who joined, the groups were incredible, the food was delicious by and the place was a dream 🙌🏼 And every single person behind the scenes, you know who you are, and you should all get crowns 👑

This was the highlight of my spring and I am very grateful to have been part of this!
