Sailing in the Baltic Sea are with Nautor's Swan 57, Céleste II. She is built in 1974 in Pietarsaari Finland. Designed by Sparkman & Stephens.

After one summer experience, Céleste’s new Ultra Marine anchor has worked like a charm. Holds immediately—no more dragging. And the anchor is beautiful. ✨😎

Finnish archipelago at its best. ✨ We woke up to calm weather this morning. There is only a couple of other vessels in the harbor. Will be staying here till tomorrow and going to enjoy of the deserted island. 🕸🍂

We kick-offed our sailing adventures on the 10th of July from our homeport in Helsinki. Our first destination was a close, calm anchorage just a couple of hours away from Helsinki. ⚓️Great leg for the first, day especially with a six-year-old sailor onboard. After the sail, activities included swimming from the boat, tapas meal, and sunset. 🌅

We love our homeport in Helsinki city center. The only downside with Céleste’s berth has been reversing her between six piles. The piles have many advantages, but handling the boat only with just two of us has been an impossible task while the wind is pushing from the side. We got new fixed bow mooring lines installed a couple of days ago. Ropes are attached to the piles, and they have Dyneema hooks at the other end where we can lift them with a boat hook. When leaving from the dock, we use L-shaped hooks to secure the lines between two piles. This makes docking safer short-handed. Thank you for from executing the plan and from the ropes.

Hello from . We sailed for the weekend to Tallinn with lovely offshore passage. 🌊

Traveling is opening again after vaccination has been progressed well in Finland and Estonia. We have enjoyed over 30°C weather during the weekend.

It is a great feeling to sail again after the winter. And what weather we have had a past week in Finland! Sea is still cold, but sailing downwind with clear skies created perfect conditions. ☀️⛵️

Time to head with Céleste to our homeport in Helsinki. We visited Dalsbruk ten times during the off-season, preparing her for the summer. Thank you, , for taking good care of Céleste and .marina for hosting us. We had many unexpected projects, and Jan, , and the rest of the crew stretched a lot and delivered everything with quality as always. 🙏☺️

Another swan greeted me while I was enjoying the sunset on the deck. 🦢 Masts are up, but there is still a lot of things to do before first sail.
