Few of my favorite snaps from my recent trip to Mt Aconcagua. It's obvious that in the current situation of quarter of the human population being on lockdown there's no chance for us to run to the mountains anytime soon. This is a good moment to get distracted with planning amazing trips for 2021/2022 though. If you are planning too, please support local guides and companies. This year will be devastating for many of them and your early booking might help them to get bread on the table.

Bitter sweet memories 💔 Me standing at 6,200 meters with Finnish flag after I had just decided to stop my summit push for the peak of Aconcagua. One of the hardest decisions I had to take in my life and even though you can't see it, I had tears running down my cheeks. Now looking back I appreciate the experience and the lessons I took with me. I still climbed higher than ever before, survived two weeks on camping and met some amazing people on my way. Mountain will wait for me until I gain my courage and confidence for another attempt. I feel truly grateful that I have an opportunity to do these things, no matter if I don't always reach my goal.

Don't you just love the feeling of getting new pair of boots? These kicks just arrived from our local expert shop Mochika - Outdoor Life. My old boots were also from Dolomite and they served me well for four years. Now time to start breaking these puppies in 😊
