Boat lifted and time to do some light overhaul. The anchor function has not been good lately, and the fault was found in a faulty steering guide.

Now it time to prepare for the winter season. Yes, you heard right, this winter you can also come out on the ice and get guidance how to catch fish. More info coming later.

Some trips done recently with new and returning guests. Pike are found in good numbers but the big once are still to be caught. Perch have been difficult in the cold water but once you get one, you often get more.

Windy day at the sea today with Pasi and we had to fish where it was possible. Still 11 pike up on a short trip so given the conditions it was quite good.

Two trips lately, first was Teca Oy on a pike trip. This was the second year they visited me, and this year 16 pike visited the Buster boat.
Then Hannu, who had gotten a fishing trip as birthday present. Perch fishing was on the agenda, and about 30 perch came up. The biggest perch was 41cm and he also got a 37cm perch.

French guests got good amount of pike and a 41cm perch the other day. Seals are unfortunately quite common on places holding fish which makes the fish go inactive or move.
