Huge congrats to New Zealand Ice Fernz's Anjali Thakker for most goals, most assists, most point, best plus-minus and best forward award at the IIHF Women's Ice Hockey Worlds Div 2B in Iceland! Anjali was responsible for 75% of her team's offensive output... it's been a while we've seen a player dominate their competition like that!

It's an absolute honour to receive the award for the best forward of the tournament. I've played alongside and against amazing players all week which makes this award so much more special. I just wanna say a huge thank you to all of our supporters here and back home - it means the world to us! I'm super stoked to be bringing home bronze with my family. See you soon NZ 🇳🇿

TAC Athlete Anjali Thakker spent the last week visiting schools in New Zealand to inspire thousands of kids to reach their full potential. There are a lot of people who are amazing at sports but to be a great role model and inspire the next generation of superstars requires so much more than athletic talent. Huge "tip of the hat" from us for this... huge.

The IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship Div 2 Group B games are over at Mundial Hockey Hielo Jaca. TAC Athlete Anjali Thakker ended up second in points and goals and she won the Best Player Award for New Zealand. Great work Anjali and congratulations on your tremendous success and achievement!

I am absolutely honoured to receive the Best Player Award for Team NZ for the whole tournament. I am lost for words. This is the biggest highlight in my hockey career and I couldn't have done it without the girls I've had by my side the past 3 weeks. Thank you to my team, our coaches, our managers and all of our amazing supporters.
