La auténtica paz de la naturaleza salvaje, con su fauna, y los rápidos que fluyen libremente.

Salidas diarias de descenso por los rápidos desde Ruunaan Tupa, Ruunaantie 129, 81750 Pankakoski:

11:00 en barca de madera

12:00 en balsa neumática

Duración del recorrido, con comida incluida: aprox. 3 horas

En barca de madera se descienden 6 rápidos y 31 km

En balsa neumática se descienden 4 rápidos y 8 km

Consulta también otras posibles salidas.

Incluye: salmón ahumado, “lanttukukko”, pasteles carelianos con mantequilla de huevo, pan y mantequilla, salchicha al fuego, ensalada, aderezo, “kotikalja” (bebida tradicional), zumo, agua, café o té preparado al fuego y dulce.

When I share this moment that i do remember goes to 1989 when teller was given and take 7-8 years old ish.

I was a part of group that was lead person named Norsu ( translate as elephant 🐘 😉 ) and what a wonderful concierge he was.

Well heroes 🦸 all of them on the Wild Jongunjoki the jungle river was in North Karelia near by border of Russia.

There we where this 9 days adventure week with our friends, family and foolish little boys and girls.

One part of at this Venture my canoe did catch too much water and the huge water did take me out of my dads hand.

Well John did hear my dad’s voice behind him.

Stopped his canoe 🛶 middle of river . Stood up between the rocks and stones splitting the white water waves.

He picked me up from my neck to his left hand and swinging me to his other hand and from there a moment I was a

BATman

for a moment to be landed in to the land of 🤪🤣😅🇺🇸😄

Kuusi kesää on kulunut,
täynnä retkiä ja tarinoita,
jokien virtaa ja metsien hiljaisuutta.

Vuoden 2020 alussa otin kompassin käteen,
jatkoin osaltani Erästelyn pitkää historiaa rohkein mielin,
suunnitelmat suurina, horisontti kirkkaana.

Maailma toi omat haasteensa –
korona ja Ukrainan sota rikkoivat suunnitelmia,
polku ei aina kulkenut sinne, minne kartta johdatti.

Silti kuuteen kesään mahtui enemmän kuin uskalsin toivoa:
satoja ihmisiä, jotka löysivät retkiltämme ilon,
elämyksiä koskien pauhussa,
hiljaisia hetkiä erämaan rauhassa
ja jaettuja muistoja, jotka jäävät ikuisesti elämään.

Nyt on kuitenkin aika sulkea ovi,
ehkä väliaikaisesti, ehkä pysyvästi.
Erästelyn tarina jää tauolle,
m***a sen muistot kulkevat mukanani,
kuin tuuli, joka ei katoa, vaikka melonta pysähtyy.

Sydämeni pohjasta:
kiitos asiakkaille, jotka luottivat meihin,
kiitos yhteistyökumppaneille, jotka kulkivat rinnalla,
kiitos työntekijöille ja apulaisille, jotka jaksoivat ja kantoivat,
kiitos perheelle, joka antoi ymmärrystä ja voimaa.

M***a juuri nyt — tässä hetkessä —
jään kiitollisena katsomaan taaksepäin:
kuutta kesää, täyttä elämää, vahvoja elämyksiä ja jaettuja hetkiä.

Tänä keväänä ei nautita huipputulvista Itä-Suomessa. Vesi.fi ennusteen mukaan Jongunjoella vedenkorkeus ja virtaama lähtee tippumaan nopeasti, jos sateita ei tule. Kannattaa siis suunnitella Jongun melontareissua mielummin jo toukokuulle, kun vettä vielä joessa riittää.

ps. Puhelinkin löytyi jemmasta, eli eikun puhelua ja viestiä tulemaan 0400271581 ja varataan teille tämän melontakauden parhaat reissut!
