Lahti University of Applied Sciences is hosting SELL Games 2020 student sport games in May 15 - 17,

SELL Student Games 2020 are cancelled

The LAB University of Applied Sciences (LAB) and the Finnish Student Sports Federation (OLL) have jointly decided, in accordance with the recommendation of the Finnish Government, to cancel the international SELL Student Games 2020 due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

We warmly thank all our partners and local sports clubs for the work they have already done for the games, and we hope that the cooperation will continue as rewarding in other ways in the future. We would also like to thank all students for their enthusiasm for the SELL Games.

One of our sports is wrestling. Did you know that wrestling represents one of the oldest forms of combat? 🤼‍♂️

Important announcement about the future of SELL Games 2020, The Corona-virus :

We, the SELL Games 2020 organizers, are closely monitoring the situations about the Corona-virus both locally and globally. So far, we are heading towards having a great sports experience here in Lahti, Finland for all the participants. We will keep a close eye about the situation of spreading of the virus. Our goal is to organize a safe environment for all athletes coming to Lahti, Finland on May 15 – 17, 2020. We will review the situation on March 16, 2020.

LAB University of Applied Sciences was established January 1st, 2020. It is a combination of two well-known Universities of Applied Sciences, Lahti and Saimaa. LAB has approximately 8000 students and over 500 staff members. LAB is the first University of Applied Science in Finland to organize SELL Games. 🔥

Accommodation at Mukkulankatu 19 LAB UAS Campus!🛏
Floor lodging:
▪Fee 10€/night/person.
▪You can bring max. 1m x 2,2 m sized mattress.
▪ Bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, sheets etc.

ReHome pop-up hotel:
▪Fee 15€/night/person.
▪Cardboard beds, mattresses, pillows are provided.
▪Bring your own sleeping bag and sheets.

All participants must reserve their own accommodation.
