I know the point of reprints is to create nostalgia but when I look at these cards, all I feel is that my childhood has been violated. There are so many great memories related to almost all of these cards from Tyranitar, which I played to win my first tournament of my life in 2002 to LudiCargo, which I played in the 2005 Worlds that when I see the cards with the current power creep, I feel like a part of my soul dies.

Although I haven't played in a couple of years, I still have all my favorite EX-era decks together. And when I want to feel nostalgia, I play with them, not these abominations. Or maybe I'm just getting too old 🤔

The official Japanese TCG website has just revealed all cards from Champion Road! The set will release in Japan on May 3rd. The cards from the set will be

I won the 80-player tournament with Yveltal/Garbodor/Seismitoad in Tokyo! Had a lot of epic and tough matches! So happy.

Going to Japan today. And what would Japan be without some Pokemon? I am going to participate in a 100+ people tournament in Tokyo which should be super fun! And report will of course be written to my blog when I'm back. Very excited!

Lost the 3rd game in Grinders with Pyroar against Accelgor/Flygon. However, the Worlds was a BLAST as always! It also was a huge wake-up call. Last year, I only played in 2 tournaments and not a single game outside tournaments. Inspired from Worlds and Team Finland's horrible results (we had the last placing player in Masters AND Juniors, and the second-last placing player in Seniors...+ no one of the Finnish Worlds attendees had a positive result) I decided to establish a new league to my new home town in order to develop the Finnish players competitveness back to where it once was. After all, we had back-to-back World Champions back in the day. This will be a very interesting one (or more)-year project and I will certainly keep everyone up-to-date.

Lost in top8 to raichu/yve/darkrai so missed the invite with one game! Well I'm going to Washington anyways, so I'll see everyone there!

Just noticed that I left all my cards at home (I am living at my big brother's place this summer) and my Nationals will be this weekend! Now I have 2 days to find a deck from somewhere...I hope miracles do happen.

I finished 29th in the final standings of the ECC. The second day didn't go that well, because I started the day with 3 ties (2 of them which I would have won one turn later -.-) and after that lost the motivation, because couldn't get to top8. Anyways, we had one Finn in top8 and 3 in top32 so it wasn't that bad. Especially for me after not playing a single game in 7 months! Report coming this week to my blog! Yes, the blog still exists even though the address has changed.

Esa 6-1-1 after day one. It seems tomorrow 5 more swiss for top32?? and then top8 single elimination?
