🚨 Right now, nearly 80,000 swimmers are already watching the breakdowns in Part 1 and Part 2 of this series. But stability and head position are only half the battle. If your alignment is off, you’re essentially "snaking" through the water, creating massive drag every single lap.

In Part 3, I break down the final "Speed Leaks" that keep you stuck above the 2:00/100m mark:

❌ The Midline Cross-over: Why reaching inward induces "parasitic movements" that swing your whole body offline.

❌ The Dropped Elbow: Losing your EVF (Early Vertical Forearm) and pulling with only your arm instead of your back.

✅ The Fix: Mastering the Paddle Grab Drill to finally anchor your hand in the water.

Efficiency beats effort every single time. Stop swimming harder, start swimming smarter.

I’ve been pretty quiet on social lately.

Not because I’m “rebranding”. Just busy. Coaching athletes and running my YouTube channel with a simple rule: one video per week.

If your swim speed is plateauing, or you want to swim faster, or swim longer with more ease, go check the channel. That’s where I break down what actually moves the needle: technique, efficiency, and the small fixes most triathletes keep ignoring.

I just uploaded a new YouTube video about swim performance in Ironman.

Not technique tips. Not drills. But a deeper look at why so many athletes get stuck in the same swim range year after year, even though they’re training consistently.

I went through a large set of race data, and what it shows is interesting. The gap to a clearly better swim is usually smaller than people think, but most athletes work on the wrong things, or in the wrong order.
I shared some additional thoughts and context inside the Skool community, especially around what really limits progress once you’re stuck in the middle of the field.

If you watched the video, or if this topic resonates with you, the discussion is open inside Skool.

So I've opened "Le SWIM LAB" a space where the focus is simple:

Understanding and analyzing swim technique using real swimmer videos.
No guessing. No generic fixes. Just clear logic.

Each week, live sessions: video analyses, Q&A, and supporting resources to help you see what actually matters and how to apply it.

If you're stuck in your freestyle and don't know how to progress anymore, join Le SWIM LAB inside my SKOOL community:

I just uploaded a new video. ▶️

It’s about staying up in the water, and more specifically why that position sometimes collapses, even when things look mostly fine.

What interests me isn’t giving tips.
It’s understanding why swimmers end up fighting the water, why effort goes up while speed doesn’t, and why fixing one thing often doesn’t fix the whole picture.

In this video, I break down recurring patterns I keep seeing when I analyze swimmers.
We’re continuing the discussion inside my Skool community, where I can go deeper, answer questions, and look at how this applies to different swimmer profiles.

If you want to understand what’s really holding you up in the water, and what makes it disappear, that’s where the conversation is happening. Link ⬇️

The silent killer of swim speed is often not at the front of the stroke.

Sure, the catch is the most important part of the stroke. It’s where the stroke begins, where direction is set, and where momentum starts to build.

But the back of the stroke is where I often see swimmers quietly losing speed without realizing it.
Nothing dramatic happens. The stroke still feels fine. Yet over time, swimming feels harder than it should. Fatigue builds faster. Body position becomes more difficult to hold.

Inside my free Skool community this week (I’ll put the link below), we’re breaking down my latest YouTube video and what really happens at the end of the push.

“I can run. I can ride.
But swimming just destroys me.”

That sentence comes up all the time.

Most of the time, it’s not about fitness.
It’s about how effort is being spent in the water, and why trying harder often makes things worse instead of better.

I shared a new video around this idea, and more importantly, a discussion has started inside the community around it.

If swimming feels harder than it should for you, and you’ve never quite understood why, you’ll probably recognize yourself in that post.

If you watch my YouTube videos or read my blogs and still have questions, this is for you.

I’ve opened a free Tri Coaching Finland community on Skool.
It’s an extension of what I share on YouTube.

Each time I post a video, I’ll also post the topic inside the community so we can go deeper into it: discuss the ideas, break down common mistakes, and talk about real training situations. The discussion there goes much further than YouTube comments.

A lot of it will naturally revolve around swimming and technique, because that’s where many triathletes struggle the most, but the goal is always better overall triathlon performance.

There will also be bonus content and deeper discussions that don’t really fit in a YouTube video.

If you want a place to talk about the pain points behind the videos and not just watch them, you can join the free community here:
