MLHF return to the for 2025. Now we are a year further down our path and with a stronger group we will be looking to do better than last year and also have some fun at the same time. 💪

It’s been a long season with plenty of ups and downs. The first half of the season saw a good start to things with some early wins and topping the table for a period. A hard match against Eagles and several injuries from that match (8!!) left us light for the following matches saw us really drop off the pace to mid table. The summer break and a reset seemed to have reinvigorated our guys and we were building well until a couple of sloppy results saw us needing to win our last games and have Eagles win their last game too. We did our part but unfortunately Eagles drew with VietFin in a very odd last game to leave us out of the running for promotion. 😞 However, it took until the very last few minutes of the very last game for us to be knocked out of things and we can rightly be proud of that! 💪 2 out of the 3 top scorers and the second highest goals for in the group shows out quality and next year we will return much stronger and will be a real force in the 6th as we go up.

A feisty encounter saw MLHF take a commanding 4-0 lead before the frustration in the TiPS players started to show as they saw their second place finish be taken away from them. 3 red cards for TiPS and 2 goals later and we achieved our goal of a big win by at least 4 goals! A strong performance from the entire squad 💪

On Sunday we will face again and this is a big one! We are both playing for something with the last game of the season to be played. Despite all of that noise though we will look to play our game the same way as we always look to do. A good game incoming!

A confident and tactically astute display against VietFin saw us take all 3 points with a 2-0 win. A win that could easily have been by a wider margin after several missed scoring opportunities for MLHF! We now have 2 matches left and 6 points to play for 💪

A frustrating match against Fortuna saw us play some good football but give away some poor goals from mistakes and a very controversial penalty decision late on to leave a draw as the end result. Not the match result we needed but a fighting spirit and some good play leaves us in the same position after the match where we have to win our remaining games. Next up high flying Eagles!

A strong showing from MLHF saw us take control of the midfield and not let Kontu in to the game at all throughout the match! A 4-0 scoreline actually flattered Kontu and I’m sure they had their goalkeeper as their MotM. Some standout performances from Olmo, Tomas and Roope with a fine goal from Steven as well but Usbi takes our MoTM with a hat trick of assists! A strong result and now we look to next week and more points on offer.
