Kashima-Shinryu Finland Kashima-Shinryū is a traditional Japanese martial art (koryū).

It was established five centuries ago by Matsumoto Bizen no kami Ki no Masamoto together with Kunii Genpachiro Kagetsugu. The roots of the school lie in a thousand or more years old Kashima-no-tachi. Present head of the school, Professor Seki Humitake, is the 19th generation headmaster (Shihanke). Kashima-Shinryū instruction is overseen by the Kashima-Shinryū Budō Renmei http://www.kashima-shinryu

.jp/organization.html, and is coordinated and directed by Shihanke (head instructor), Soke (head of the Kunii family) and representatives of Kashima Jingu.
