🏉 Warriors Touch – Monday Game Highlights & Spring Training!

What a fantastic night at Töölö! 💥 Monday’s (March 30) friendly games were packed with sharp moves, quick feet, and incredible team spirit. Big thanks to all the players and amazing refs who made it such a fun evening.

Now is the perfect time to join our growing Touch community. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, you’re more than welcome to join our mixed team!

Upcoming Practices:
🗓️ When: Mondays at 19:00 – 20:15(ish)
📍 Where: Töölö Pitch 3 (artificial grass between the Ice Hall and Stadium)
⏳ Season: We’ll be training at Töölö until April 27th, before moving to our summer fields!

WRC was well represented at last weekend’s national team camps! The women’s team is traveling to Germany this week for a match on Saturday. The men’s team’s next match will be played in Norway on the 18th of April. The matches will be streamed on the Rugby Europe website 🎥

2026's first junior rugby camp done and dusted! 20 kids between 6-12 spent two days running, passing, kicking, and tackling, and everyone had a lot of fun!

This was the 11th camp Warriors organized, and the development of the level of rugby throughout the years has been remarkable - rugby keeps growing in Finland!

The next camps will be organised in June and August. You can also try rugby at our weekly junior trainings, the first month is free to try. DM for more info.

First of three rugby 7s tournaments completed 🏉

Both the men’s and women’s teams finished in second place, with their only losses coming against . The women’s team performance featured three great 7s debuts, along with Ariadna playing her first ever rugby match and scoring two tries!! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who came to watch and support throughout the day ⭐️
The next tournament takes place in Jyväskylä on 14.2.

On 6th of Jan, hosted the second tournament of the Finnish touch championships in Espoo, featuring 6 teams, including our very own Warriors Touch team PLUS a composite team of Warriors juniors and senior men.

The Warriors Touch team faced off against bitter crosstown rivals, Helsinki Rugby Club twice in what proved to be very competitive contests where the Warriors emerged victorious and claimed the first annual Finnish Touch Championship.

Special thanks to
, Michal and Marcel for helping organise and film the games in Kouvola and Espoo as well as referees Nico Laurila, Patrick McSteen and Romain Sirot and volunteer players.
