I stood on the beach this morning watching the sun rise out of the Atlantic.

For a moment everything became very still—almost as if the observer inside me stepped forward and simply witnessed the beauty of the world appearing.

Sand and Water

Experience is Your Worst Teacher! Why! You take the test before listening to the lessons. This is a nudge before self-plaguing over personal pettiness, illusory success, being a CEO, whining about a perfect relationship, being famous, or making more money than you could ever spend.

An illusion, a zero-sum game, these too will pass, all are reduced to nothing one day. Mountains created by the last ice age are eventually nothing more than sand and water and millions of years gone by. Isn't it time to stop pretending otherwise?

Honor your life. Do the best you can with what every experience offers you... learning for the next test and evidence of authentic leadership capacity.
