The Power of Premium!

Years ago, I gave a public speech and met a fellow speaker at the same event. He was a professional explorer who had visited Antarctica seven times. We stayed in contact and kept planning for years to do something together.

A few weeks back, Patrick Degerman and I signed the papers and became joint venture business partners. We co-designed a once-in-a-lifetime premium expedition to Greenland with an online training module and base camp training in the Swiss Alps. All-around fantastic premium package. He is the Expedition Leader, and I am the Expedition Coach.

Since the beginning, we set a relatively high ticket price per participant. We knew we had to reach beyond our circles to meet the right clients.

In the past two weeks, we have gotten to know this wonderful world of concierge service providers for the HNWI and UHNWI segments. According to them, our offer has an excellent match for their clientele, and we have become the hot ticket for the global market leaders serving their niche. These partnerships allow us to break free from the sales and focus on delivering world-class service with our team.

Super happy about this new venture. The sales target for 2022 is 1MM USD with Greenland expeditions only.

I absolutely loved this gesture from Novak Djokovic at the Men’s French Open finals on Sunday. Djokovic later explained that he didn’t know the boy, but the boy in the audience encouraged him throughout the match, giving him tips and tactics.

Imagine a world champion taking coaching from a young child. I guess that’s what makes him the best! I love Novak’s humility to accept that the kid helped him win the match!

I’m not sure how many of us would have listened to that child, but it’s just a reminder to keep your eyes and ears open.

One of the many good things with her has been the rise of standards. I used to connect this theme to work only and never thought it would happen within a relationship.

We are the outcome of our past. Reaching goals and progress require new standards.
Standards set the results.
Results come from rituals.
Extra results come from demanding more of yourself.

All this should happen through gentle playfulness, especially within a relationship, where kindness and empathy should drive the change.
Developing in balance, growing in rest. That’s the trick.
