The European champs have been and gone, and what an amazing champs it was. Our amazing KFK students won 13 medals in total, with every student doing fantastically well. 🤩
A total haul of 44 medals for Finland, a new record. 🇫🇮
All the hard work paid off. Congrats to all students, and thank you to all who supported on-site and from home. All instructors and, no doubt, parents too, are super proud of how well each student did. Here are some more photos in addition to what Nanda posted. Onward and upward, next is the world champs in Tallinn! But first, glorious summer! Have a good one, everyone! 😎

OSS 🥋🔥 KFK is officially on summer vacation!

What a fantastic way to finish the season with Kimura training! Thank you to everyone who brought the energy, spirit, and determination to the dojo throughout this season👊
Best of luck to all teammates at the European Championships next week in Leipzig. Fight with courage, respect, and the true spirit of karate—we’re proud of every one of you!

KFK Club had an amazing day at the Kimura Cup in Vantaa!

Our juniors were absolutely on fire and brought home some incredible results!

A massive shoutout to Alexandru, who was awarded Best Boy Karateka and Best Technique, and to Isak, who earned the title of Best Fighter of the Tournament — amazing performances from both!

And that’s not all…

Our team won an incredible 7 medals in kata and 8 medals in kumite!

We are beyond proud of every junior who stepped onto the tatami today. Your hard work, courage, and fighting spirit truly paid off. You gave it your all and showed what real karate spirit looks like!

An unforgettable day filled with pride, passion, and outstanding achievements for Shukokai karate!

Hard work, big stretches, and lots of fun on the mats this week. Our karate kids are building strength, confidence, and flexibility one class at a time.

Karate training isn’t just about punches and kicks — flexibility and focus are part of the journey too! Our students are always pushing themselves and supporting each other on the tatami.

What a proud moment for our club and the entire Shukokai karate family! 🥋🔥

We are beyond thrilled to share that at the Espoo Sports Gala Shihan Jouko has been awarded Instructor of the Year — a true testament to his dedication, and lifelong commitment to excellence in karate.

Our Juniors World Champions – Team Kata were named runners-up for both Team of the Year and Athlete of the Year! 🌍🏆 Their discipline, teamwork, and relentless training continue to inspire us all.

These achievements reflect the heart of Shukokai Karate — perseverance, dedication, and the belief that hard work truly pays off.
