One year ago, the Adventure Racing European Championship took place in Finland, in the beautiful Lake Saimaa region. Back then, Estonia ACE / La Sportiva finished third. Yesterday, they took the next step and became European Champions in Denmark!

Next year, it’s time to race again in the Lake Saimaa region, but this time on an even bigger stage. Endurance Quest returns as an AR World Series Qualifier, bringing expedition adventure racing back to Finland for the first time in 15 years!

Today is finally the day for the first-ever Junior Adventure Racing World Championship!

The teams have made it to Canada, and this evening it’s time for the opening ceremony! This weekend, on the ARWS European Series page, Lauri Hollo, Race Director of Endurance Quest Finland, will be reporting live from Canada and following all the European teams on-site.

Endurance Quest Lohja – ARWS European Series 2026 is over, but the memories are forever.
What a weekend it was: really warm days, lots of kayaking, a spectacular sunset on the water, once again a navigation nightmare, real MTBO maps and biking, and two different caves to visit.

Thank you to all our partners who made this possible. The biggest thanks goes to our volunteers, who organized everything so the racers had only one thing to do: race as hard as they could!

Next year, it is time to step up to the big race: Endurance Quest – AR World Series. 500 km long and over 100 hours of racing.
