Käringsund Triathlon har arrangerats sedan 2009 och stod för värd för junior FM-Cupen 2013-2014.

A familiar triathlon race with a suitable start for everyone – from the youngest to the elderly in both competition and open classes. 2026 will traditionally begin on Friday with a relay, while Saturday is dedicated to individual starts! BBQ Buffet 29.8.2026

The dinner has become a lovely tradition, marking the perfect end to a great triathlon weekend — and for many, also the end of the triathlon season.

On Saturday 29.8 at 18.00 triathletes, together with family and friends, will once again gather for a fantastic evening dinner.
Pre-booking is available at just 40€/ adult and 19,50€/ children aged 5–12 (44€/21€ for drop-in), including a delicious barbecue buffet.
Non-participants are also very welcome to join.

Basta & Pasta

Today it is only four months until this year’s Käringsund Triathlon 🤩
On Friday 28.8, when this year’s event begins with a short supersprint, participants are also traditionally invited to enjoy the beach sauna & hot tub from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, as well as a pasta party starting from 7:00 pm.
This is therefore INCLUDED in everyone’s registration fee.

Non-participants are also welcome to join the pasta party for 13€/adults and 7€/children aged 5–12 – payment on site!

On Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, troubadour Tony Wikström will perform on the terrace in Käringsund.

So much more than just a race! 🤩

What makes Käringsund Triathlon truly special isn’t only the competition itself—though that’s certainly a highlight. Athletes love the swim in the stunning sea lagoon (and for some, even the open sea), the fast and flat cycling course, and the run along peaceful country roads.

But it’s the full experience that sets this event apart: the beautiful surroundings, convenient accommodation close to the race center, shared meals with fellow participants, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that brings everyone together.

And it doesn’t stop at race day. The weekend also includes:

🎸 A pasta party (included in the registration fee) with live troubadour music on Friday evening after the race!

We warmly welcome you to Käringsund Triathlon 28-29.8.2026

The event will be quite similar to this year’s, yet with some differences. Among other things the 1/2 distance will be an Olympic distance next year,and the vessel MS Sars, which has been part of the race for several years, will not be with us in 2026. However, we are working on some plans that we soon will share with you!

The website will be fully updated and registration for 2026 will open no later than Monday, February 16, 2026. On the front page of www.triathlon.ax you can already find the distances for 2026.

Mark the event in your calendar already now - hope to see you in Käringsund the last weekend of August!
