After a short snowshoe walk through the silent forest, we welcome you into a traditional Lappish kota, where a warm dinner is prepared by the fire 🔥❄️

Far away from any light pollution, this place feels truly timeless…
And when the Northern Lights decide to dance above us, the experience becomes pure magic 💚✨

Over the past few days, we’ve had the privilege of guiding our guests under some of the most spectacular Northern Lights of our lives. ✨

After a short walk through the Pallas-Ylläs National Park, we’ll find the most idyllic small cottage. Soon smoke is rising from the chimney and we start preparing your dinner, while you descend to the foot of the sacred rock of Äkässaivo.

After soaking up the mystical atmosphere, ancient stories and possibly watching the dancing Northern Lights the traditional Lappish reindeer stew* with all its trimmings is waiting for you.

*vegetarian option available.
