A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. She would pick up each starfish and throw it back into the ocean.

She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”

The girl seemed crushed. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied,

“Well, I made a difference for that one!"

And we have made a difference to all the fish that would have been killed or injured and caught on these lines and hooks. And that's what matters. ❤️

El Sábado día 21 de Septiembre necesitamos tu ayuda para limpiar la Cala de la Higuera de Torrevieja de plásticos, sedales y cualquier otra basura.

Por favor envíenos un mensaje para avisarnos que vienes. Cada limpieza de playa organizada por , es más y más grande cada año y apreciamos toda su ayuda... Los niños son más que bienvenidos a unirse a la limpieza de playa

BuZeo Torrevieja are organising a beach and reef clean on the 1st June, 9am. Cala del Salaret (next to Playa de los locos) in Torrevieja and we need your help!

We need people on the beach and in the water who want to give a little back to our natural environment. The last clean we did here, we picked up over 50kgs of plastic and fishing lines and we are on a mission to clear even more, but we need your help!

If you have a spare hour or two please come down and help us. Families and children encouraged too... It's good for kids to learn how to look after nature.

WE NEED BEACH GOERS, DIVERS, SURFERS, SNORKELLERS AND PADDLEBOARDERS!!!!
