🎾 ¡Conoce a tu entrenador, Callum! 🎾

¡Hola a todos! Soy Callum, de County Meath, Irlanda, y llevo 3 años jugando al pádel. Empecé cuando me animé a probar el club local de donde vivía, ¡y desde entonces no he mirado atrás!

Llevo 2 años dando clases, desde que tenía solo 16 años. Lo que más me gusta es ayudar a la gente a entender el juego, mejorar sus habilidades y conocer gente nueva.

¿Qué puedes esperar de una clase conmigo?
Clases sencillas y entretenidas que te ayudarán a mejorar tu juego sin complicarlo demasiado. 🙌

Mi consejo para quienes empiezan a jugar al pádel o vuelven después de un descanso:
Da algunas clases primero, después empieza a jugar partidos y practica lo que hayas aprendido. ¡Es la mejor manera de seguir mejorando!

Algunas cosas que quizá no sabías sobre mí:

* ¡Soy muy, muy tímido! 😅
* Tengo 3 hermanos mayores.
* Fuera del pádel, me gusta jugar al fútbol con mi equipo, Los Alcázares. ⚽

¿Mis golpes favoritos? El smash y la volea de revés. 💥

🎾 Meet Your Coach, Callum! 🎾

Hi everyone! I’m Callum, from County Meath, Ireland, and I’ve been playing padel for the past 3 years. I first got into it when I gave my local club a go, and I haven’t looked back since!

I’ve been coaching for 2 years, starting when I was just 16. What I enjoy most is helping people understand the game, improve their skills, and meet new people along the way.

What can you expect from a lesson with me?
Simple, enjoyable lessons that will help you improve your game without making things too complicated. 🙌

My advice for anyone starting padel or coming back after a break:
Have a few lessons first, then start playing matches and practise what you’ve learned. That’s the best way to keep improving!

A few things you might not know about me:

* I’m very, very shy! 😅
* I have 3 older siblings.
* Outside of padel, I enjoy playing football for my team, Los Alcázares. ⚽

My favourite shots? The smash and the backhand volley. 💥

Hoy os presentamos a Dani, uno de nuestros entrenadores de pádel. Un apasionado de este deporte que lleva casi toda una vida en las pistas y que disfruta especialmente viendo cómo evolucionan sus alumnos.

¿Cómo empezaste en el pádel?
Por casualidad. Un día vi unas pistas en mi pueblo y me animé a probar. Y desde entonces, hasta hoy. 😄

¿Cómo describirías tu estilo como entrenador?
Metódico y cercano. Me gusta que mis alumnos entiendan lo que están haciendo y que cada paso tenga un porqué.

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de enseñar?
Observar el proceso de evolución de mis alumnos. Ver cómo van mejorando, cómo entienden el deporte y cómo empiezan a disfrutarlo cada vez más.

¿Qué puede esperar alguien que viene a dar una clase contigo?
Un profesor al que le encanta su trabajo, con amplia formación y cercano. 🎯

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta ayudar a mejorar?
Que entiendan el pádel. Si son capaces de entender en qué consiste jugar, el resto viene solo.

💡 Un consejo para quienes empiezan:
Que no intenten tirar fuerte todo el tiempo. 😉

❤️ Lo que más disfruta del juego: Un partido equilibrado.

Today we’re introducing Dani, one of our padel coaches. A true lover of the sport who has spent almost his whole life on court and gets the most satisfaction from seeing his students improve.

How did you get into padel?
By chance! I saw some courts in my village and decided to give it a try. And I’ve been playing ever since. 😄

How would you describe your coaching style?
Methodical and approachable. I like my students to understand what they’re doing and why.

What do you enjoy most about coaching?
Watching my students’ progress. Seeing them improve, understand the sport and enjoy it more and more is what makes it so rewarding.

What can someone expect from a lesson with you?
A coach who loves his job, has extensive training and is always approachable. 🎯

What do you most enjoy helping your students improve?
Understanding padel. If they can understand what the game is about, everything else comes naturally.

💡 One piece of advice for beginners:
Don’t try to hit the ball hard all the time. 😉

🏆 Favourite shot: The lob.
❤️ Favourite part of the game: Watching a close, evenly matched game.

🏃‍♂️ Away from the courts: I enjoy running outdoors and doing CrossFit.

The sporting atmosphere.

Because of the way people treat each other and the respect.
