Liam is finally home ❤️

After what has been an incredibly difficult and worrying time following Liam’s crash at the Manx Grand Prix, we’re so relieved and grateful to say that Liam is now home with his family.

The road ahead will take time, but being back home surrounded by the people who love & support him is a huge step in the right direction!

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has taken the time to send messages, check in, and kept Liam and the family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness, support and prayers have meant more than you could ever know during such a frightening time.

Please continue to keep Liam and his family in your thoughts as he focuses on his recovery. ❤️🙏

Special thanks goes out to all the ACU, medics, Marshalls, the team, Alice, sister Caitriona but most of all Mam Chawke for everything they have done to help throughout this time!

**Update on Liam Chawke**

Liam has now had surgery, and thankfully it has gone well. He is in a lot less pain than he has been over the last few days, which is a huge relief.

This is only the first step in Liam’s recovery, and there is still a long road ahead, but for now we are taking things one step at a time as we wait to hear more.

We truly appreciate all the messages, support and well wishes for Liam and the family.

Please understand that we, especially will not be able to respond to everyone at the moment.

Liam is our priority and all our focus is on supporting him through his recovery.

Following his recent accident at the Manx GP, Liam has since been transferred to hospital in Liverpool, where he is receiving treatment for back injuries.

We truly appreciate all the messages, support and concern shown for Liam and the family. There have been so many messages coming through, and while they are all greatly appreciated, please understand that we won’t be able to respond to everyone individually.

Today Liam was unfortunately involved in an accident during the Junior MGP race the incident occurred at Black Dub, he has been taken to Nobles Hospital with suspected leg injuries, Liam is talking and other than that ok.

We will update when we know more.

James was involved in a competitive battle for the top five on the DD Racing 350 David Ecob, mixing it with a strong field of experienced riders. He pushed hard throughout the race to come home sixth, narrowly missing out on a top-five finish another solid result for James during a demanding week of Classic TT racing, showcasing his speed and experience on the Course with a fastest lap speed of 97.670

Liam has also been enjoying a strong Manx Grand Prix, finishing 7th on the Jack Reid Cars /KMR Kawasaki Supertwin with a best lap speed of 114.62 before going one better with 6th on the Chawkie Racing Suzuki 750 best lap speed 118.74

Today brings the biggest challenge yet, with Liam set to contest both the Junior and Senior Manx Grand Prix. After his strong results so far, he will be hoping to finish the week on a high.

The Chawkie brothers have certainly given supporters plenty to celebrate this season so far but we’re hoping there will be plenty more left to celebrate before the season is over!
