Bemsee Round 3 Donington Park Gp

Second race meeting on the 675. After Spain I felt more comfortable on a bike again, this round reminded me that I'm not quite there race wise yet.

Probably expecting a bit too much good while off a bike with injuries, a different bike and class.

The confidence I had is returning and I'm sure the race craft will as well.

I had a great weekend for many reasons other than my results and lap times, and at the moment that's where I need to be.

The weekends results really came from a poor qualifying due to a lengthy incident. Never really got going until the last race where I feel a bit of race mode come back!

Plus's from the round were wearing the brand new Macna Mizuno leathers which I couldn't believe how well they fit on the bike!! Seeing old friends and family as always!

Cadwell up next and I think ill see another big step to getting
back up there!!

So despite losing 2 days to rain in Almeria, the feeling I left with was very positive.

Gelled with the 675 very well.

A few small changes, and had never been to Almeria before, I left with a decent time and I think I’ve got my MOJO back!!

Huge thanks to Stuart O’Grady Charlie Mann Lee Mayes for the help whilst there.

Gary Walton for the guidance throughout the trip and always offering more and more to improve.

Teut Wiehn for the set up assistance.

Almeria day 1

Nearly a disaster with forgetting the key 🤣 luckily dad remembered the spare!

2 sessions in and very comfortable, few changes for this afternoon.

Looking forward to getting faster over the next few days.

After nearly a year off.

Jumped on a bike for the first time over the last 3 days.

Very last minute and with no real season plans confirmed yet, this was all about if/could/ I wanted to ride a bike again!

Didn't take more than 3 turns to work out that I wanted too!

Ironically it was visit to Oulton Park of all places that I chose to hope back on.

Back with Bemsee so felt right at home.

In short.

Wrist Good
Back Good
Elbow Good

Thumb was the only thing that hurt, after falling of on a sledge at about 10mph in the winter!!!

Massively off my pace, but was building into it, and after zero winter riding I think its a positive,
