In more positive news my recovery is nearly there and cannot start working towards my fitness for my return in a few weeks!

Hey everyone!

Just a little update for you all! Recovery is going well and I’m making progress. Unfortunately I’m not ready to race or even ride just yet. My wrist is getting better, although the issue with my back break is still on going.

Afternoon Everyone.

It’s no secret to how hard this week has been for the racing scene.

I’ve kept quiet on social media regarding my own expierence at Round 1 at BSB, as it doesn’t seem so important now. However what started as a really strong weekend ended up with a big crash at Turn 3 in race 1.

Due to multiple fractures sustained in this, mainly the wrist. I will not be fit for round 2.

Recovery is well on the way and I’m sure we can be back for Round 3.

I’d like to thank the exceptional medical care I received at BSB and the brilliant work of all the marshals and officials.

My team for being so supportive and working hard behind the scenes even now to get things moving forward.

First official BSB test complete!!

Had a brilliant time at our first proper test, we’ve had tests leading up to this with a couple of Europeans and some club races. But there’s nothing like the real thing. The track we are racing at first, and the riders we are going to be riding against.

I thought I’d be really nervous going into this, but far from it. Went in positive and confident. An early wet session eased us in, until our first dry session was enough to go 0.5 sec faster than my PB and 1 sec faster by the end of the day. An early crash on day 2 set us back a little with track time. But the team pulled it out the bag to get us on track with only missing about 30 mins of a session.

Plenty to look through with the data, and parts of my riding. But going into round 1 positive! Please come along and say hello at our first round if you’re there!!!

Good day in the office today!!! Progress made and times coming down! Couple of big changes for tomorrow to hopefully send us in the right direction! Thanks for to the team for all the hard work today, especially crew chief Andy Smith at ATP Racing for working late into the night to get everything ready for tomorrow!!

Still buzzing from an unreal day at Urban Automotive HQ 🔥

Had the chance to link up with Lenny and the team for a shoot that’s featured in this week’s Urban Uncut, and man… what an experience. Urban’s builds are next-level - seeing our bikes for this season alongside their custom Defenders was pretty cool.

As most of you know I am not one to talk infront of the camera, but think this one turned out alright 😂

Massive thanks to the guys at Urban for the warm welcome and letting us into their world. And a huge thank you to EB1 Racing for presenting me and the team with these opportunities.

Day 4 of testing ahead of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship season at Circuito Nuevo Andalucía and what a way to end the week! 🏁

It was great to work with Gary from Notso-fast coaching yesterday, learning lots and taking everything into our final few sessions, resulting in Alex taking seconds off his best lap time at the circuit, success!

A bit of a wobble on day 2, but nothings stopping us from getting up and just cracking on with it!

Crew Chief Andy and the rest of the team really pulled together and showed us what they’re all about - getting back to it.

A huge thank you to Kate at Hideout Leathers for working tirelessly on getting Alex’s leathers ready for the season, safety first 🫡
