La decima edición del Sailfish Lanzarote International Open Water se celebrará el 16 de mayo de 2026.

The event has been designed for swimmers of all ages, with four different categories and four circuits. The two biggest categories of 5km, 3.8km and 1.9k will have cash prizes for the top three finishers. This will all take place in a unique aquatic location: The transparent and quiet waters of Playa Grande in Puerto Del Carmen. We look forward to welcoming both local and international swimmers in

this competition including amateurs and professionals. We try to offer categories that are suitable for all abilities

Estimados nadadores, familias y amigos del open water:

Lamentamos informarles que el Sailfish Lanzarote Open Water programado para el 16 de mayo de 2026 en Puerto del Carmen ha sido cancelado debido a motivos de reestructuración empresarial.

Entendemos la ilusión y preparación que muchos de ustedes han invertido en este evento, y esta decisión no ha sido fácil para nosotros.

Estamos trabajando activamente para establecer una nueva fecha que nos permita ofrecer la experiencia excepcional que todos merecen.

Manténganse atentos a nuestros canales oficiales para el anuncio de la nueva fecha en las próximas semanas.

We regret to inform you that the Sailfish Lanzarote Open Water event scheduled for May 16, 2026, in Puerto del Carmen has been canceled due to corporate restructuring.

We understand the excitement and preparation that many of you have invested in this event, and this decision has not been easy for us.

We are actively working to set a new date that will allow us to offer the exceptional experience that everyone deserves.
