💙 THIS is what family diving holidays are all about! 🤿
We absolutely LOVE receiving your reviews, but this one from Ben really meant a lot to the whole Manta team.
Four family members, four very different diving needs. Ben is a Divemaster, his son an Open Water diver, his 10-year-old daughter needed to complete her Open Water referral dives, and his wife was returning to diving after around 25 YEARS away from the water!
The goal? Get everyone comfortable, confident and enjoying diving together as a family. 💙
And judging by this incredible review, mission accomplished! 🥰

**“Truly superb team who looked after the whole family!!”**
“This was a delicate diving holiday for me. I am a Divemaster and my son is a competent OW diver, but my daughter had completed her OW confined dives and was in need of an open water referral and my wife was a qualified AOW diver but not dived in c25 years. So the objective of the holiday was to get my daughter qualified and my wife comfortable in the water again.
I researched the various clubs across Puerto del Carmen (of which there are loads) but decided on Manta because the reviews were so strong.
I couldn’t have been more pleased. Firstly, when I contacted them, Rachel (the owner) responded super quickly and extremely comprehensively and even answered questions I hadn’t yet asked! We booked in my daughter’s referral dives as well as dives for the rest of us. Their online booking system was excellent so I was able to check in online ahead of time with all of our certification, medical forms and insurance details which saved a bucket load of time on the first morning so that was a real win!
Then onto the diving. My daughter did her open water qualification dives with Victor and he was absolutely superb. He was very patient, explained things very clearly for a 10yo and looked after her superbly underwater. We all loved him for that. My son and I dived with Sam for a few dives who was also great fun, really informative and knowledgeable (in fact passionate) about the underwater ecosystem and we thoroughly enjoyed diving with him. He really sparked an interest in my 13yo son which was a real bonus.
Unfortunately, initially my wife had a poor second dive in which she struggled with her buoyancy which knocked her confidence. I explained that to Rachel and her partner, Ben (owner) immediately said he would dive 1:1 with her to get her back on track. We took him up on this kind offer and he got her sorted and rebuilt her confidence in that dive.
From there, Ben kindly took us under his wing and dived with us for multiple dives working super hard to accommodate all of us, and carrying my daughter’s kit which was struggling with the weight!
Between Rachel, Ben, Victor and Sam we couldn’t have asked for a better team. We loved diving with them and the family learnt a lot and will go home considerably better divers.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them at all - it’s the measure of a great team/business of how they handle things when something goes wrong and when we had a problem they jumped into action and got us sorted.
