Welcome to India ! The last time I was here (2020) I closed my 6 figure business. I felt a mixture of relief and grief but I knew that my heart was wanting more …

It takes courage to start a business but I didn’t realise that closing a successful business takes ‘guts’

I walked on the beach afterwards to honour my decision and felt into the ‘privalege’ of leading & growing this business from just an idea. (2002-2020)

I felt into the courage to start when everyone was saying not to as I was a sole parent with no support and a large mortgage ( which has now been paid off) and still healing from my abusive relationship.

I savoured the moments when all I had was ‘rebellious hope’ as I navigated a tsunami of emotions when things didn’t go to plan.

Celebrated the opportunity to set foundations deeply rooted in courage, integrity, being of service and empathy and not being shoe horned into someone else’s work culture.

I loved the lifestyle I created that meant I could travel the world with my daughter.

Each footprint left in the sand was a a sacred honouring but also a fresh new start

I had a vision … bit delayed due to my recovery from cancer, but now right on time.

The last few months I have been nourishing this vision and have been creating a new foundation that will serve my desire for a nomadic feel to my life but still support women to transform lives with their sacred purpose with disruptive brand strategy.

So, here I am in India, arriving at the start of the new wood snake new year … I’ve got a feeling this is the ‘re-emergence’

The messy middle… where we are whipped up by the storm. Slightly disorientated. Figuring s**t out, tapping into our wisdom and finding our feet. That’s the messy middle.

We’ve all been there! Trying to navigate the wildest storm. Battling our insecurities, doing deep s**t healing and finding ourselves in the chaos.

This has been my journey post cancer. What I use to hold true lost. Beliefs scattered into pieces and love holding everything together (just)

As the storm fuels the change, the soul craves more and we shift. Slightly shattered and worn in places but with rebellious hope leading us into our next phase of life.

We are the storm

This Autumn I chose to ‘deeply root’ the lessons of the storm… into a methodology called ‘We Are The Storm’
It was a coming home to my truth, my calling and I am here now to share it with you.

I’m filled with gratitude for the amazing women who guided and inspired me to re start my business after my cancer treatment.

Their support lit a fire in me, giving my business a deeper purpose.

: Her creative cauldron and holding the field of delving into our soul calling, fed my creativity and inspired me to write. I feel honoured to host her in my home last year as she travelled Europe. Her depth, her sensitvity and humour (check out her ‘little too much’ Substack)

: Her community held me when I was feeling quite fragile - as I explored my post cancer identity. Jess & Co showed me I was ready to show up as ME ( kinks and all)

: She has a unique gift of making everyone feel seen & heard. The Cohere family - the love bomb hits you every time you enter a zoom room.

Yet, I am also aware of the deep suffering of women in conflict, and social disparity. There is still more work to do!

One of the biggest mistakes I see creative entrepreneurs make in their business is trying to serve and sell to everyone. It’s counterintuitive, because if your desire is to help everyone - you will constantly get enquires from customers you don’t really want.
