Now that the AWC hangover is over and I'm back home after a month away 😅. I just have to say thank you, starting with Laura García for supporting and helping me. Thanks to the entire Spanish team, from mini to standard, and especially to my intermediate teammates. Thanks to everyone who cheered for us from the stands and those who supported us from their homes. THANK YOU. Perhaps it's a bit repetitive, but I thank God for bringing Jakka into my life, thanks to the coincidences of life that led her to my home. This has been our first year of qualifiers, and we secured a spot in the AWC 2023. An incredible journey that began in January of this year, full of excitement. I wanted to live that dream to the fullest and we prepared diligently. This sport, in my view, is tough, and I tried to prepare us to the maximum, both physically and mentally. Jakka arrived in incredible shape, marking the third-best time in the team jumping, and in the agility, a placement error on my part led to elimination. Many asked me, 'Did the elimination hurt?' The answer is yes and no 😅. Yes, for my teammates, and no because I felt an inexplicable sensation from the moment we stepped into the pre-ring with Jakka. I enjoyed a few seconds with her where it felt like the world stopped, and our hearts beat to the same rhythm as we danced on the AWC carpet, and for me, it was incredible regardless of the result. I hope to do better next year, and I hope everyone can enjoy watching that incredible little dog and get excited with every inch contested in this sport called Agility.

Ya pasada la resaca del AWC y en casa después de un mes fuera 😅. Solo tengo que dar las gracias, empezando por Laura García por apoyarme y ayudarme. Gracias a todo el equipo español desde mini hasta estándar y en especial a mis compañeros de intermedio. Gracias a todos los que nos apoyaron desde la grada y a los que nos apoyaron desde sus hogares. GRACIAS. Quizás ya sea algo repetitivo, pero doy gracias a Dios por poner a Jakka en mi vida, gracias a las casualidades de la vida por la que ella acabó en mi casa. Este ha sido nuestro primer año de selectivas y conseguimos una plaza en el AWC 2023. Un viaje increíble que empezó en enero de este año lleno de emoción. Quería vivir ese sueño al máximo y nos preparamos a conciencia. Este deporte, a mi modo de ver, es duro, y traté de prepararnos al máximo, física y mentalmente. Jakka llegó en un momento de forma increíble, marcando el tercer mejor tiempo en el jumping por equipos y en el agility un fallo de colocación mío nos llevó a una eliminación. Muchos me preguntaron: ¿dolió la eliminación? La respuesta es sí y no 😅. Sí, por mis compañeros y no porque he sentido una sensación inexplicable desde que nos pusimos en el pre-ring con Jakka. He disfrutado de unos segundos junto a ella donde sentí que se paraba el mundo y nuestros corazones latían al mismo ritmo mientras bailábamos sobre la alfombra del AWC, y para mí fue increíble sin importar el resultado. Espero el siguiente año hacerlo mejor y que todos puedan disfrutar viendo a esa increíble perrita y emocionarse a cada pulgada disputada en ese deporte llamado Agility.
Ese AWC también tengo que agradecer y mucho a Greta, nuestra mexicana de flexiplets. Que no solo fue nuestro patrocinador, sino también la mano amiga que nos ayudó cuando no nos dejaron volar de regreso a casa con Jakka. MUCHAS GRACIAS GRETA.
