Jason Rose’s journey to representing Team USA at the 2026 Cairns Cup at The San Roque Club is a story of resilience, purpose, and the healing power of golf. A former jeweler, Jason was diagnosed with HSAN-1, a rare neurological disability that ultimately led him away from the profession he loved. Determined to find a new path forward, he discovered golf and quickly embraced the game as both therapy and a source of renewed passion.
Through adaptive golf, Jason found not only a competitive outlet but also a supportive community that helped him navigate the challenges of living with a rare disability. He has competed in adaptive golf tournaments across the United States and proudly represented Team USA at the 2024 Cairns Cup, where he forged lasting friendships and strengthened his commitment to the sport.
Passionate about growing the adaptive golf community, Jason continues to advocate for greater opportunities and accessibility within the game. He is dedicated to helping others discover the therapeutic, social, and life-changing benefits that golf can provide. As he once again represents Team USA at the 2026 Cairns Cup, Jason remains an inspiration to fellow athletes through his perseverance, positivity, and unwavering dedication to making a difference.
