A matchday on tour with us tends to run something like this.

We collect you from the hotel and get you to the ground in good time. There's an ambulance or a qualified first aider at every match, which is the first thing most parents ask about and the last thing any of us want to be thinking about.

Fixtures are graded by age and ability, so the rugby is a contest rather than a formality in either direction.

Then comes the tercer tiempo, which the Spanish clubs take seriously. Your squad will finish the day having made friends with the side they just played.

After that we get you back to the hotel, and the evening is yours.

The U14 Sitges Cup runs on Saturday 24th April 2027 on the Catalan coast, with clubs from Spain, the UK and Ireland.

It shares a weekend with the Super Mario Cup, which is worth knowing if your club is bringing more than one age group. Two squads, one trip, same hotel, and the older lot playing across both days.

Sitges is small enough that everybody stays together and walks to everything, and Barcelona is half an hour away by train.

Flights into Barcelona or Reus.

The Ramada at Mijas Costa sits on a hillside between Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas, and it's apartments rather than hotel rooms, so there's plenty of room to spread out.

Studios up to two bedrooms, each with a balcony or terrace. The complex is split into six sections with nine pools between them, so nobody is walking far for a swim.

There are four places to eat, including Zac's for the buffet and a rainforest-themed restaurant, plus minigolf, a tennis court, a games room and kids' clubs split by age.

Worth a look if you're travelling as a mixed group with families along for the trip.

New dates have just been added to our 2027 calendar, so there are now even more chances to bring your squad to Spain.

From February through to June there's a tournament for every age group, minis right through to vets, in Marbella, Andalucía, on the Catalan coast and in Gibraltar. Each one brings together clubs from Spain, Ireland, the UK and the rest of Europe for a great day of rugby, with the tercer tiempo afterwards and the beach never far away.

Spain is a wonderful place to tour. Warm sunshine, beautiful coastline, friendly clubs who love hosting visiting sides, and hundreds of teams since 2010 who've gone home already planning the next one.

Over the years we've hosted Oxford University, Watsonians, Portsmouth, West of Scotland, Terenure, Wanderers, Ennis and St Mary's College Dublin, along with school groups from Chislehurst & Sidcup, Gateways and Roding Valley, and clubs travelling from as far as Poland, France and Senegal.

Llanharan won the U16 Marbella Festival with us. New Panteg took the U12 Sol Cup.

The Super Mario Cup is our two day tournament, which makes it a different proposition to the rest of the calendar. U16s to U18s, boys, on the Catalan coast over the weekend of 24th and 25th April 2027, with clubs from Spain, the UK and Ireland.

Two days changes how a tour feels. There's a night in between, results to argue about over dinner, and a chance to put right on the Sunday whatever went wrong on the Saturday.

For older squads it's usually the version they want.

Flights into Barcelona or Reus, and everything from the airport onwards is arranged.

Two day formats are the first thing coaches ask about. If your colts are looking at 2027, start with this one.

Marbella is where a lot of our Costa del Sol touring happens, and it has just about everything a touring group could want.

Beautiful beaches, a lively old town of narrow streets and orange trees, and Puerto Banús along the coast for anyone who wants a look at the boats.

There's serious rugby here as well. Marbella Rugby Club has turned out national U16 champions and sends players into the Andalucían regional side, so a fixture against them is one worth having.

Málaga airport serves the whole coast, and we'll be there to meet you.

The question we get asked most is what the standard will be like, and it's a fair thing to worry about. Nobody wants to fly a squad two thousand miles for a hiding, and multiple easy wins teach your players nothing either.

So we match every fixture by age and ability before you travel. We know the clubs here, we know roughly where a visiting side will sit once you've told us about them, and the draw gets put together with that in mind.

If your squad is stronger or weaker than the age group suggests, tell us. It's far more useful to us than a polite answer, and it's the difference between a good day and a long one.

Mid-April on the Catalan coast, and the Junior Sitges Cup brings U10s, U11s and U12s together on Saturday 17th April 2027, with clubs from Spain, the UK and Ireland.

It's one day of rugby, and that age is about the sweet spot for a first tour. Old enough to remember it properly, young enough that the whole thing still feels like an adventure.

Sitges is a gentle base for a group that size, and Barcelona is thirty minutes away by train when somebody wants a change of scene.

Boys and girls both play. Flights come into Barcelona or Reus, and everything from the airport onwards is arranged.

Junior dates are the ones parents book around, so an early conversation helps.
