A weekend of mixed emotions for Club Star.

Another retirement for the club, this time with Claire and Nala running their last competition together, well done for keeping it together round the course. We are going to miss your dulcit tones around the course Nala!! Pablo you have some big boots to fill after your sister, but already doing so well.

A great result for Mandy getting her final point with Jay to move up to grade 2. He is such a good boy.

Results for the weekend:

Saturday

Mandy and Jay 2nd place in Grade 1 intermediate
Marta and Zephir. 1st place in Grade 1 large
Claire and Nala 2nd place in Grade 2 Intermediate

Sunday

Mandy and Jay. 1st place in Grade 1 intermediate
Claire and Nala 3rd place in Grade 2 intermediate
Shelley and Gravity. 2nd place in Grade 2 large

Some great work as well from Diana and Duna and Carla and Fito

An enjoyable weekend at the competition hosted by Club Agility Tinerfe - Muchas Gracias

We started with Claire McIntyre Cook and Pablo , and Diana and Duna passing their sociability tests enabling them to make their debuts in Grade 1, with both doing some excellent work in their first proper competition.

Podium results for the club:

Saturday

Claire and Pablo 2nd in Grade 1 small
Shelley and Tino 2nd in Grade 1 intermediate
Marta and Zephir 1st in Grade 1 Large

Sunday

Claire and Pablo 1st in Grade 1 Small
Mandy and Jay 1st in Grade 1 intermediate
Shelley and Tino 2nd in Grade 1 intermediate
Shelley and Arrow 3rd in Grade Grade 1 Intermediate
Marta and Zephir 3rd in Grade 1 Large

We also had Demi and Koda make their debut in pre agility showing some very promising work

Another retirement today from Club Star, and this time it was the turn of our own little Salsa spanner, who went out with the win in Grade 3 (Good job we had a good jumping run as our agility round was a train wreck 🤣, mummy was too emotional to guide you properly).
Gonna miss running you my gobby little girl, you have done me proud over the years and even managed Regional Champion twice.
Don't worry there will still be plenty of sweets and balls in retirement!

Today one of our longest standing members Lunita Foronda retired her trusted companion Chicory from competition. They shared many years of great partnership including participating in the Spanish rsce championships. Enjoy your retirement Chicory and for Marta many years of excitement lay ahead with her new companion Zephir
