🌞 Wednesday morning, again, delivered something special on the green this week!
You know those mornings where everything just clicks? That was us yesterday — perfect weather, brilliant company, and a competition that had every single player gripped from the very first bowl to the very last end. 🌞
And when the final count came in? The scoreboard refused to choose a winner. So we didn't make it choose — because sometimes the fairest result IS a two-way tie at the top! 🏆🏆🏆

Two champions. Zero arguments. Absolute scenes. 👏

We also had a a few visiting players..... Once again - Jim Flannigan and Gordon Stirling from Patons & Baldwins Bowling Club in Alloa. We also had Gary Paterson, Lindasy Plenderleith and Brian Paterson from Bonnyrigg Bowling Club.

The ladies' quarter-finals at Rattray, Perthshire were called off today due to snow on the green... while here at Tenerife Green Bowls we enjoyed sunshine, blue skies and perfect bowling conditions! 😎🌴

From snowballs to bowls, winter coats to sunglasses – the game goes on somewhere! 😎

Wishing all the ladies affected by the weather in Scotland a safe return to the green soon, and we're certainly appreciating our Tenerife sunshine a little extra today. 🌴🍹

🌞 What a Tuesday morning on the green!
Wait — it's actually Monday, and honestly? It felt like the best kind of surprise, because it meant it was Mondays Fun Competition morning 😄

This morning's Fun Competition at Tenerife Green Bowls was one of those sessions that just flows. Great bowls, great people, great weather — and a scoreboard so tight it had everyone leaning in right until the very last end! 🎯

The atmosphere was great from the first bowl to the final count. Visiting bowlers mixing in with our regulars, friendly rivalry, plenty of banter, and that wonderful Tenerife sunshine doing its thing ☀️ — this is exactly what Monday and Wednesday mornings were made for.

😮 It was nail-biting stuff, and it meant we couldn't split the podium — so today we're celebrating not one, not two, but three deserving champions! 🏆🏆🏆

🥇 Joint 1st – Arnold "The Young Gun" Almond, John "The Windup Merchant" Steady and Jennie "Maybe I can play" Thomas

Huge congratulations to all three — and honestly, hats off to every single player out there today. Every end mattered and everyone brought their A-game! 👏👏

We had 3 Visitors from Patons Bowling Club, Alloa - 2 bowlers (Jim Flannigan and Gordon Stirling) and a "Bowls widow" and wife of Jim - Mags Flannigan. It was great meeting you guys 👍 - Thanks for returning our trophy 🤣👍🤣👍🤣
