Less is more. But always with character.

Renovation update:
Today we added more design icons in the villa.

This iconic wall light by Modular Lighting Instruments is a perfect example of great design that rarely shouts.. A soft white form against a light grey wall, refined by a subtle champagne-coloured interior that transforms light into a warm, golden glow.

By day, it is a sculptural object. By night, it becomes architecture. Light and shadow gently reshape the wall, adding depth, warmth and atmosphere without demanding attention.

The best design is not always what you notice first.

Sometimes it is what makes a space feel exactly right.

Renovation update: slowly, the villa is shifting from a place you enter… into a place that truly welcomes you.

What used to be just a passage has become a small ritual of arrival.

At the entrance, a light glass table awaits. Not a statement, but a gesture. A simple bowl for your keys—as if you’re not just placing them down, but letting go for a moment.
A small retro clock, deliberately modest. Time is not meant to dominate here, only to whisper in the background. Just enough to know when the day begins… or when it’s time for that dinner reservation.

The mirror now carries a warm, deep Japanese red—subtly echoing the Vitra Corniches. By day it catches the light, by night it holds the atmosphere. It reflects more than the space; it reflects the pace you naturally settle into here—slower, softer.

And beneath the table: a basket of play.
Not decoration, but an invitation. For children, of course—but just as much for adults who momentarily forget they are adults. A ball, a shovel, something simple—for outside, for sun, for movement. For the kind of moments you don’t plan.

Perhaps that’s what we’re creating here.
Not just an interior, but a transition.

From being on the way… to being here.

Renovation update: earlier this year we shared the first glimpse of our transformation… and slowly, the house is beginning to reveal not just how it looks, but what it means.

Throughout the villa you’ll find a curated collection of artworks. Each piece carries a story, often rooted in places that matter to the owner. Via QR codes you can explore those stories—and sometimes even find your own connection to them.

Most works trace back, in one way or another, to Den Bosch, The Netherlands.

Fourth reveal: Golf Landscapes by Kevin Murray.

In each of the three bedrooms, you’ll find two original prints—one of Bernardus and one of Las Colinas—six in total. These are special edition pieces (1/50), carefully selected and placed throughout the villa.

Murray is considered one of the leading names in golf photography. His work is all about timing and atmosphere—capturing courses in soft morning or evening light, when shadows define the landscape and everything feels momentarily still. He doesn’t photograph the game itself, but the world around it.

The pairing is intentional.

Bernardus in The Netherlands reflects origin. Precision, calm, and a certain discipline.

Las Colinas reflects something more personal. Over the years, hundreds of rounds have been played there. It’s not just a course, but a place that has become part of a rhythm—of returning, of slowing down.

By placing one Bernardus and one Las Colinas print in every bedroom, each space carries that quiet dialogue. North and south. Structure and openness. Beginning and continuation.

And perhaps that is what it comes down to.

Las Colinas calls itself “a world apart.”
After spending time here—and seeing it through Murray’s lens—you begin to understand why.
