Meet the coaching staff for the 2026/27 season. 🇪🇸
A mix of experience, new ideas and people who have been part of Alicante Football Academy from the beginning, all working towards the same goal: helping our players develop and giving them the best possible opportunities in Spanish football.
🔹 Alberto – Academy Coordinator
The man behind putting this coaching team together. Alberto coordinates the football side of the academy and works directly on finding the right Spanish clubs and opportunities for our players.
🔹 José – Juniors Head Coach
A new addition to our team. After many years of professional coaching experience abroad, José is back in Spain and brings valuable experience and knowledge, with a real passion for developing the younger generation.
🔹 Iñaki – Seniors Head Coach
Another new addition for 26/27. Iñaki brings with him an extensive playing career in the Alicante region and a strong understanding of local Spanish football.
🔹 Javi – Juniors Assistant Coach
A familiar face at AFA. Javi has been with us for years and continues as an important part of our Juniors coaching staff.
🔹 Germán – Juniors Physical Coach
With us almost since the beginning, Germán is responsible for keeping our Juniors fit, strong and ready to perform while continuously improving their physical level.
🔹 Néstor – Seniors Assistant Coach
Another member who has been with the academy since the early days. Néstor brings experience, knowledge and continuity to our Seniors team.
🔹 Gonzalo – Seniors Physical Coach
Bringing extensive experience from working with different teams, Gonzalo leads the physical preparation of our Seniors squad.
🔹 Apa – Goalkeeper Coach
Young, energetic and still active as a player himself, Apa brings that same intensity into every session with our goalkeepers.
