Autumn is often associated with grief and letting go. Associations of unwanted grip or release.
What if there was another way to see it?
The side of becoming softer to sustain. Instead of gripping on, bearing on, we soften, we let go of the force.
Metal is often imagined as rigid and unyielding, but Metal can also be shaped, softened and adapted. It can bend without breaking.
Another kind of strength: not becoming harder to endure more, but softening enough to meet what is changing.
Just as metal has the ability to soften and adapt instead of staying rigid and break.
We can find strength in softness.
