Thank you everyone who played today at a very cold Font del Llop.
One of our members lost his wallet on the course and our thoughts obviously went to the warnings we received when we arrived about thefts on the course.
Thankfully someone found the wallet and handed it in to the Clubhouse and our member was advised by Font del Llop.
There are 14 members signed up for our next outing to El Plantio already.....

FYI Coopers is opening 8.30 if anyone wanting breakfast before golf.
This is not included in golf package.
Meal will be provided on return to Coopers prior to presentation.

Coopers Golf Society Rules
2023

Cost of membership is 15 euros and is due on 01/01/2023, please pay as soon as possible.

Golf will be priced at 55 euros for members and 65 euros for non members for 2023.

Deposit of 20 euros is required when adding your name to the list and this is non refundable if you cancel within one week of the outing,
This unfortunately is as a result of people cancelling at the last minute and the Society still having to pay the full booking.
Fees have to be paid fully one week before the outing as we have to confirm numbers to the relevant course in advance.

Only members can win the main prizes of 1,2 and 3 plus nearest the pin however guests can win the “ 2 ” s competition if they participate. If there are 3 or more non members participating a prize will be given to the best score,

Ian Robinson will be handicap co ordinator for the Society.

Morning Cooper's Golfers
We are planning to have a meeting 29th Dec 2pm in Cooper's
Our hope is to see as many there as possible but acknowledge busy time of year.
Membership fee of 15€ can be paid at meeting.
We aim to discuss society rules and come to some agreements.
We would also like to update contact details of members so we can improve communication within the group.
We are aware not everyone is on Facebook so please spread the news to other Cooper's golf members till we get sorted.

Hi society members, I've just come back from Scotland popped up for a a pint and cannot believe the stories banding about our Golf Society.
I'd like to tell you where we are.
No meeting has been held with the owners as Dave is in UK and I've just come back today from Scotland, Brian and I plan to have our usual Monday refreshment and speak to the owners to establish what they want.
My understanding is they want to continue having sent a message when I was away.
let's stop all the rumours and deal with fact.
we will update date the Members, not the rumour mongers,at golf on Tuesday
