Esquina Park Rangers from Ciudad Quesada Rojales 03170 Alicante Spain travelled to Hondon on Frid 25th September to compete in the Hondon Valley Flyers 12 team annual Tournament....
Teams from Esquina, Fortuna Lions, La Romana, San Miquel , Montesinos, Formentera, Dumbarton , Hondon & Frailes were involved..The teams were split into two Leagues of six. With the winners , runners up 3rd , 4th , 5th & 6th positions playing the teams in the same positions in the other league to determine the final Tournament Standings..Each match was 15 mins long.

Esquina winning four games & drawing one to head the top of their league .. This putting them into the final v La Romana..

Always a tricky game when Esquina meet La Romana ..
With few chances at either end it was Esquina that broke the deadlock with in form striker Martin Young slotting home the ball which turned out to be the winning goal..

Esquina scored a total of 19 goals over the six matches which is a Great Result in its self..

What a fantastic day of football yesterday in Rojales! (Friday, September 11, 2026). We saw 21 matches played, 63 goals scored, plenty of close encounters, and an absolute battle right down to the final whistle!
While every team brought their A-game, The Hub and Esquina Park Rangers emerged as the two standout sides of the tournament.
Here is how everything went down:
🥇 THE CHAMPIONS: THE HUB 🥇
Taking home the tournament title after an incredible unbeaten campaign!

* Record: 6 played | 4 wins | 2 draws | 0 defeats
* Goals: 18 scored | Only 2 conceded (+16 GD)

Their rock-solid defense ultimately secured them the top spot on goal difference!

Esquina truly announced themselves as a serious force, matching the champions point-for-point and finishing a close second!

Finishing a brilliant 3rd with 13 points—just one point away from the top spot! They recorded 4 wins and secured the biggest win of the day with a 6–0 demolition of Hondon V.F.

A very respectable tournament finishing 4th with 10 points (3 wins, 1 draw, 2 defeats).

The lower half of the table was incredibly tight, with Formentera (5th), Camposol (6th), and Hondon V.F. (7th) all finishing level on 3 points, separated only by goal difference!
