𝗩𝗦 𝗔𝗧𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗗𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗗 🇪🇸

Last week, our Academy, Real Internacional, had the incredible opportunity to face off against La Liga giants Atlético de Madrid U19s in a highly competitive friendly.

In a tightly contested match, we narrowly fell to a 2-1 defeat, but the scoreline only tells part of the story. Our players showed resilience, quality, and character throughout, going toe-to-toe with one of the top academies in European football.

Matches like this are invaluable. They test our standards, expose areas for growth, and, most importantly, prove that our players can compete at an elite level. The experience gained on the pitch against such high-calibre opposition is something that will stay with the boys as they continue their development.

We take pride in the performance, we learn from the moments, and we move forward stronger.

𝗟𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔 𝟮 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 ✍️

Joaquín Torres, the versatile defender, capable at both left back and centre back, makes the step up from Real Sports Group’s semi-professional side, Benamocarra CF, to sign with Cultural Leonesa U23s, with the first team competing in La Liga 2.

After overcoming setbacks this season, Joaquin showed resilience and character, playing a key role in winning the league title and securing promotion in the 9th division.

He will now finish the remainder of the season with the club’s U23 squad as he continues his transition into a professional environment with the La Liga 2 club.

This opportunity comes off the back of Joaquin’s recent trial within the Leonesa setup, a trip which saw him accompanied by both Academy Director, William Robinson and, Academy Co-Ordinator, Juanma Bullejos.

A testament to hard work, consistency, and belief. This is just the beginning.

Claudio Landon has been on trial with Cultural Leonesa, linking up with their Liga Nacional U19 side.

The left-footed left back only joined our academy in February but has already made a big impact, standing out consistently in a short period of time. Claudio has also made his debut in the Spanish league system with our Benamocarra U19s, showing his quality and readiness to compete.

A great opportunity and fully deserved. Keep pushing, Claudio.

This past week, academy midfielder Luka Latorre has been on trial with LaLiga 2 side Cultural Leonesa, linking up with their U23s competing in Tercera RFEF.

Luka recently made his senior debut with Benamocarra CF, and is a perfect example of a player who has fully bought into the mentality and pathway at Real Internacional. Over the past 9 months, his development has been outstanding both on and off the pitch.

Weston Wurzelbacher earns the opportunity to trial with Burgos CF, marking a major step forward following an impressive period of development within our academy program.

During his time with us, Weston has come on immensely, evolving from a developing goalkeeper into a far more confident individual. His growth in key areas such as positioning, decision-making, and overall command of his area has been clear to see, built through consistent hard work and commitment.

Through our relationship with Burgos CF, we are proud to provide players like Weston with the platform to step into a higher-level professional environment and test themselves within the Spanish football system.

Hudson Browning returns to Burgos CF, having previously spent time on trial with the club during the first half of the season, a testament to the strong impression he continues to make within a professional environment.

As part of our ongoing agreement with Burgos CF, the club is closely monitoring our 2009-born players over a two-season period, providing a clear and structured pathway for long-term development and opportunity. Hudson’s continued involvement highlights both his progression and the belief the club has in his potential.

Opportunities like this are a reflection of consistent hard work, development, and the strength of our relationships within the Spanish football system.

Akram Sanchez begins his 4-day trial with Burgos CF’s Liga Nacional side, an exciting opportunity and a strong step forward in his development journey.

Akram joins our academy through our valued partner agency Segura Global Sport, and thanks to Sergio, we are able to work with a player of Akram’s calibre. A player with huge potential, Akram is an unpolished talent with a lot of development ahead, exactly the type of profile we look to nurture and elevate within our program.

Through our strong relationship with Burgos CF, we are proud to facilitate and mediate this opportunity, giving Akram the platform to test himself in a highly competitive professional environment over the next three days.

#𝗕𝗖𝗙𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 - 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵

Over the past season, Nick has developed immensely within our academy environment, showing real growth in his technical ability, tactical understanding, and overall maturity on the pitch. His hard work and consistency are now paying off, as he becomes an integral part of the U19s campaign with Benamocarra.

Alongside his U19s performances, Nick has also been training with Real Sports Group’s Semi-Professional side, CF Benamocarra 2025, gaining exposure to a higher level of intensity and further accelerating his development.

As part of our academy program, Nick is also gaining invaluable experience competing within the Spanish league system, a crucial step in his journey as he continues to progress and push towards the next level in his career. Also, during this current 25/26 Season, Nick also earned himself a trial with professional Tercera RFEF (5th division) side CD Pedroñeras, another strong reflection of his progress and potential.

Spencer Vanater earns the opportunity to trial with Burgos CF, marking a fantastic step forward following a strong period of development within our academy program.

During his time with us, Spencer has developed nicely across all areas of his game, showing clear progression in his understanding of the game. and overall consistency. This has helped him reach this opportunity within a professional environment.

Through our relationship with Burgos CF, we are proud to provide players like Spencer with the platform to step into a higher level and test themselves within the Spanish football system.

The Segunda División club will now continue to monitor Spencer over the remainder of the season, with the potential for him to return next season for an extended trial and further monitoring period, a strong indication of the level he is reaching and is capable of reaching.
