Marine scientist Nan Hauser was filming humpback whales in the Cook Islands in 2017 when one whale began pushing her through the water for over seven minutes.

Initially confused, she realized an 18-foot tiger shark in attack mode was approaching. The whale positioned her on its head and transported her safely back to the boat, away from the shark.

Hauser believes the whale displayed altruistic behavior by protecting her from danger. Over a year later, she reunited with the same whale, recognizing it by distinctive markings. The encounter was captured on video and widely shared online.

The mystical Underwater Path. Magical Zakynthos Caves, Greece.
Zakynthos is one of the largest islands in the Ionian sea. In fact, it is the second most visited isle apart from Corfu. The lands in Zakynthos are quite mountainous, and just like the other Ionian islands, there are a number of fertile valleys and green plains that depict superb landscapes on the island. However, it is on the West coast where Zakynthos offers one of its most stunning views: the blue caves. They are also known as the blue caves of Volimes, the picturesque village where they are located.
These blue caves have interesting arches created by erosion along thousands of years, which allow for going through these caves and get actually surrounded by this surreal environment. They are obviously the soft spot for those who like diving.
According to the cultural belief, gods had accidentally scattered some precious stones in the sea during the creation of the world
