¡Aunque no lo parezca, ya ha pasado un mes y la salida de Observadores del Mar está de vuelta! 📋🐠

El domingo día 16 a las 14:00 horas volvemos con más ciencia ciudadana. Haremos una salida de doble buceo en la que identificaremos las principales especies de peces vinculadas al calentamiento de las aguas del Mediterráneo.

Antes de ir al agua, haremos una breve explicación sobre cómo proceder durante el transecto y repasaremos las especies que intervienen en el protocolo de observación.

¡Esta vez planeamos ir a la zona del Cap del Pinar!

Cuándo: Domingo 16 a las 14:00 h en Tramuntana Diving.

Precio: El mismo precio que una salida estándar.

Requisitos: Ser buceador Open Water y tener una cuenta en Observadores del Mar (puedes crearla de forma gratuita en el enlace que tenemos anclado justo arriba).

🌊 Citizen science in action! 🐠💙

Last weekend, we headed out with Observadores del Mar Observadores del Mar for a special citizen science dive, where we monitored fish species linked to the warming of the Mediterranean Sea.

Before entering the water, we learned about the observation protocol and how every diver can contribute valuable data for marine research.
Together, we explored, observed, and documented species while enjoying another unforgettable day beneath the surface.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to protecting and understanding our Mediterranean Sea. Every observation counts, and together we can make a difference. 🌍💙

¡El mejor proyecto de Observadores del Mar está de vuelta! 📋🐠

Este domingo día 19 a las 14:00 horas volvemos con más ciencia ciudadana. Haremos una salida de doble buceo en la que identificaremos las principales especies de peces vinculadas al calentamiento de las aguas del Mediterráneo.

🌍💙 World Ocean Day Cleanup Dive 💙🌍

During the weekend, together with and , we took action for the ocean we love.

At Cala Engossalba, our team collected more than 10 kg of marine debris in less than one hour. Among the items found were masks, glass bottles, plastic waste, and many other objects that don't belong in the sea.

A special thank you goes to Aina Jaume, marine scientist and PhD researcher in Marine Ecology at the Centro Oceanográfico de Baleares, who joined us on board. 🌊

Aina shared valuable insights into the impact of marine litter on our coastal ecosystems and introduced the MIRAMAR project, which focuses on assessing the environmental and the effects of multiple human impacts on the marine environment.

The cleanup reminded us that every piece of litter removed matters. Protecting our oceans starts with awareness, education, and action.
