Since 1992 we have been involved in the development of Piedrahita as a premier XC and competition site and have been involved in the organization of many international and national paragliding and hang gliding competitions. These include the FAI Paragliding World Championships, the FAI European Championships and 4 Paragliding World Cup (PWC) events. Over the last 20 years our guiding service has a

llowed many of our clients to achieve their personal bests and maximize their enjoyment of their flying trip to our area.

1,102km in 2 weeks this time for Richard Fry. Probably a record distance for our clients over a stay here in Piedrahita. Many days the last two weeks have been rather big, climbs to 5000m and some breezy conditions. Richard did over 4 100km+ O&Rs, and for those of you who know him, he is not shy of flying in conditions that many of us choose not to fly. Well done Richard. See you next season.

An amazing week with 2 days of 100km + and a bigish O&R.
yesterday Strong convergence around the Piedrahita Valley, and once you left that, obviously headwinds at lower level in all directions. A 80 -90km triangle done by many venturing towards the Avila Valley, then north, then towards Barco then back to Piedrahita. You can see the covergence section behind me over the Piedrahita valley. The Photo image is just before turning as we dropped into the lower headwinds. Today another big forecast with thermal tops to 4000m and a likely Avila and back flight.

The Ozone Vibe has been kindly on loan from AlamAir (the importer in Madrid). A remarkable all round wing, the perfect XC tool and for the first time a fully usable and intuitive C steering system (an only a mid B). I have flown it for over 400km now and am very reluctant to give it back. If you are coming out with us this season there are demos available in the mid sizes.d

So far a three week run of excellent XC weather. Today's top flight by Mathieu, making a near 100km circuit flight. Today our area was shielded from the strong SE by the Gredos allowing us a great flying day with good climbs to over 3000+.
