Our tennis academy was founded in Mallorca with the same philosophy that brought Guillermo Vilas to the top: hard work, dedication and winning mentality.

Vilas Tennis Academy is located in the heart of the Municipality of Calvia, Mallorca. Our center has 23.000 square meters and is only 150 meters away from Palmanova's beach and 15 minutes by motorway from Palma de Mallorca's airport. The club has 10 clay courts and 2 synthetic courts with last generation surface from CASALI courts. Facilities are approved by the ITF, and we hold in our Academy var

Nuestra academia de tenis fue fundada en Mallorca con la misma filosofía que llevó a Guillermo Vilas a la cima: trabajo duro, dedicación y mentalidad ganadora. Vilas Tennis Academy se encuentra localizada en el municipio de Calvia, Mallorca. Nuestro centro tiene una extensión de 23.000 metros cuadrados, y está ubicado a sólo 150 metros de distancia de la playa de Palma Nova y a 15 minutos en autopista del Aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca. El club dispone de 10 pistas de tierra batida y 2 courts sintéticos con superficie de última generación de CASALI. Nuestras instalaciones cuentan con la aprobación de la ITF y acogen regularmente torneos locales e internacionales. Nuestro Head Coach Sergio Sabadello es el entrenador oficial del equipo ruso de Copa Davis. Unsere Tennis Akademie wurde auf Mallorca mit derselben Philosophie gegründet, die auch Guillermo Vilas an die Spitze brachte: harte Arbeit, Hingabe und eine Gewinnermentalität. Vilas Tennis Academy liegt im Herzen der Gemeinde Calvia, Mallorca. Unsere 23.000 gm große Anlage liegt 150 Meter vom Strand von Palmanova und 15 Autominuten vom Flughafen Palma de Mallorca entfernt. Die Anlage verfügt über 10 Sandplätze und 2 Hartplätze mit den neusten Belägen von CASALI. Alle Plätze sind ITF geprüft und wir veranstalten in unserer Akademie verschiedene lokale und internationale Turniere. Unser Cheftrainer, Sergio Sabadello, ist der offizielle Trainer des russischen Davis Cup Teams.

1. Bring your best attitude
At the end of the day we are here to enjoy paradise and meet other tennis enthusiasts

2. Wardrobe Choices: Tennis fashion is key. Forget the fancy sportswear; it's all about those knee-high socks and an abundance of sweatbands just as Vilas did.

3. Pre-Game Rituals: Develop an extensive pre-game ritual that includes adjusting your lucky visor, testing the tension of your racket strings , and offering sagely advice to your opponents, whether they want it or not.

4. Battle of the Aches and Pains: Embrace your inner hypochondriac. Discuss your 'injuries' at length with fellow players. "My tennis elbow's acting up today," among other

🎾 What is UTR? Let's break it down! 🌟

UTR, or Universal Tennis Rating, is a system that helps measure a player's skill level accurately. All players are rated on the same 1.00-16.50 point global scale based on daily match results.

📊 How does it work?
UTR takes into account not just wins and losses but the score, the opponent's UTR, and the surface you played on. It gives every player a unique rating, making it easier to find the perfect match, no matter where you are on your tennis journey.

🏆 Why is it important?
Here at Vilas Tennis Academy, we believe in nurturing talent and helping players reach their full potential. UTR allows us to do just that! It helps us organize competitive events like our upcoming UTR tournament, where players of all levels can shine.
