⚔️ It was a true pleasure for our school to take part in the UK's largest HEMA event, FightCamp, which brought together more than 300 participants for a weekend packed with classes, tournaments, sparring, and, above all, the exchange of knowledge.
Our instructor, Daniel Ibaseta, had the honor of teaching the class "Vulgar vs. Verdadera Destreza", based on the treatise of Manuel Cruzado y Peralta. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the class for their interest, participation, and enthusiasm in discovering the history of our martial heritage.
We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Matt and Lucy Easton, of Schola Gladiatoria, for the opportunity and, above all, for helping promote the Spanish Verdadera Destreza at an event of this scale.
As always, it was a pleasure to reunite with old friends. Among them was Fran Lacuata, of By the Sword, with whom we have enjoyed a great friendship for many years and who kindly provided us with some much-appreciated chairs during the event. It was also wonderful to meet David Rawlings again and attend his outstanding class on Thibault's Destreza.
Finally, it was a pleasure to meet so many new people and experience such a wide variety of fencing styles 🤺

⚔️ Ha sido un verdadero placer para nuestra escuela participar en el mayor evento de HEMA del Reino Unido, , que reunió a más de 300 personas en un fin de semana repleto de clases, torneos, asaltos y, sobre todo, mucho intercambio de conocimientos
Nuestro instructor Daniel Ibaseta (Daniel Ibaseta) fue el encargado de impartir la clase "Vulgar vs. Verdadera Destreza", basada en el tratado de Manuel Cruzado y Peralta. Queremos agradecer sinceramente a todas las personas que asistieron a la clase, por su interés, participación y entusiasmo por descubrir la historia de nuestro patrimonio marcial.
Queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a Matt y Lucy Easton, de Schola Gladiatoria, por la oportunidad y, especialmente, por contribuir a la difusión de la Verdadera Destreza española en un evento de esta magnitud.
Como siempre, ha sido un placer reencontrarnos con viejos amigos. Entre ellos, Fran Lacuata, de By the Sword, con quien nos une una estrecha relación desde hace años y que nos proporcionó unas muy cotizadas sillas durante el evento. También a David Rawlings, fue un auténtico placer volver a coincidir con él y disfrutar de su excelente clase sobre la Destreza de Thibault.
Y, por supuesto, conocer a tantas caras nuevas y distintos estilos de esgrima 🤺
