🌍 Are you a global leader or program manager?
Cultural Intelligence could be the game-changer in your success. 🌍

It’s one of the key values that landed me complex programs with major international companies.

Here's why cultural intelligence (CQ) matters and how you can develop it:

𝘐𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴:

𝑬𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:
You’ll connect better with diverse teams if you understand the cultural nuances.

𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:
Cultural differences lead to diverse perspectives. Leverage them to think of creative solutions.

𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔:
Make well-rounded decisions that reflect multiple viewpoints and be able to explain them in clear language.

𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦:

𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇:
Learn about different cultures, their values and beliefs. Try to adjust to it without losing your unique style.

𝑬𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚:
Create an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and appreciated.

𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕:
Challenge your biases and adapt your leadership style. Think of what benefits the team and the organisation.

𝑺𝒆𝒆𝒌 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌:
Continuously improve by listening to your team. Ask them about the culture.

𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒔:
Make genuine connections across cultures.

Does your company have a good culture,
or is there room for improvement?

People talk about building a company culture all the time.
But…
What does it mean?
Why is it important?

Here are 4 reasons you should care about company culture.
𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴:

1. how happy your team is in their work and with their leader.
2. how you communicate with each other.
3. the way you solve challenges.
4. your behaviour towards customers.

Now, we´re not saying culture is the only factor affecting these things, but it's definitely one of the main ones.

𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚?

You need to understand what culture is
what it isn't,
and what you need to create a good one.

Is that easy?
No, but it's worth it.

In fact, studies show that a good company culture increases employee productivity by up to 50% and profitability by 12%.

But just how sharp are your decision-making skills?

You see, sometimes, the logical decision is hard to swallow.
Not only for you, but everyone affected by the decision.
That’s when you notice that decision-making involves more than just logic;
it's deeply rooted in Emotional Intelligence (EQ).

🔍 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘌𝘘 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯-𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴:

By recognising individual strengths, weaknesses, and concerns, you make decisions your team members will understand.

2️⃣ 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:
Empathise with our team's perspectives and emotions. That way, you make decisions while also considering their well-being. It builds trust and loyalty. Even if you do have to make a difficult decision.

3️⃣ 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕:
Regulate your own emotions to prevent rash decisions driven by stress or frustration. Staying composed enables you to make thoughtful and effective choices.

Integrating EQ into decision-making doesn't just give better outcomes.
It also cultivates a supportive, understanding, and inclusive work culture.

Leadership is not just about being competent or skilled; it's about understanding and managing emotions—yours and others.

Here's why it should be your secret weapon:

• 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔: As a great leader, you know your strengths, weaknesses, and how they impact others. You're in tune with your emotions and how they influence your decisions and behaviour.
• 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Instead of reacting impulsively, you, as an emotionally intelligent leader, stay calm under pressure. You think before you act and manage your emotions constructively. Even in challenging situations.
• 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒚: Understanding others' emotions is vital to effective leadership. Become an empathetic leader; listen actively, show understanding, consider different perspectives, and encourage trust and collaboration.
• 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔: Building solid relationships is the core of leadership. When you lead with emotional intelligence you communicate effectively, resolve conflicts diplomatically, inspire and motivate your team.
• 𝑨𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚: Change is constant. Emotional intelligence makes you flexible and adaptable. You will navigate uncertainty with resilience and inspire confidence in your team.

Emotional intelligence isn't a "soft skill"—it's the cornerstone of outstanding leadership. The result of understanding and channelling emotions? You'll create a positive environment, drive performance, lead authentically and show empathy.

⁉️𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 ⁉️
Stop and ask yourself:
Do I really need to?

Not If you want to make a real impact.
You are your unique touch of magic.
It’s how you cut through the noise.

I’m not just talking about pictures taken 15 years ago.
It’s how you communicate and act.
Your character and beliefs.

Everyone can have an off day, or
be caught wearing sweatpants when
all they wear online are power suits.

No judgement here.
If, in essence, you are true to yourself.

𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘪𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭?

🎙️ 𝑫𝒓𝒐𝒑 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒕:
Stop trying to fit into a mould that's not you. Your audience smells inauthenticity from a mile away. Ditch the role, show up as YOU.

🎙️ 𝑩𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅:
Embrace your quirks, flaws, and imperfections. They make you relatable and human.

🎙️ 𝑶𝒘𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆:
Your brand voice should sound like you, not a carbon copy of your competitors. Share your story, be honest and let your personality shine through.

🎙️𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔:
Keeping it real builds trust. Show up authentically, and you attract the right audience. It´s these connections that matter.

🎙️ 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕: Authenticity isn't a one-time gig; it's a lifestyle. Stay true to yourself across all channels and interactions. Live or online. It builds trust and loyalty.

The pressure to conform doesn´t end online. Want to excel in your career or as a business owner? People tell you to act a certain way. Don’t buy into it. Your success doesn’t require playing a role.

Next time you're tempted to play a role, ask yourself: Is this truly me? Authenticity is your superpower – embrace it.

Let me ask again: 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘪𝘧 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦?

Stop trying to be the most interesting person in the room.
𝐁𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝.

EQ will get you everywhere in business and life.
Why?

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a superpower
you want to invest in
if you want to become an effective leader.

𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴:
• 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒎𝒂: EQ isn’t about flashy presentations or winning popularity contests. It's about forging genuine connections with people by understanding their emotions and perspectives.
• 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: In the heat of disagreements, your EQ allows leaders to navigate tensions calmly and find solutions that satisfy everyone involved. It's not about winning arguments but finding common ground.
• 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕: When you show empathy and understanding, you inspire trust and loyalty. Team members feel valued and respected, leading to stronger relationships and better collaboration.
• 𝑨𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚: EQ helps you roll with the punches. In a world of constant change, adaptability is key. As a leader who incorporates EQ, you adjust to new situations, inspire confidence, and keep your teams focused on the shared goal.
• 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉: EQ isn’t just to lead others; it's also about leading yourself. When you lead with high EQ, you continuously reflect on your own emotions and behaviours, striving to improve yourself and be resilient.

EQ isn’t a nice-to-have—𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘢 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵-𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦.
It’s the foundation of authentic leadership;
it enables you to connect, inspire, and lead with integrity.
