Today, sixteen years ago, Edurne Pasaban Lizarribar reached the summit of Sh**hapangma and completed the fourteen eight-thousanders, becoming the first woman widely recognised to achieve the feat.

Her story is about the mountains, but also about something greater: overcoming fear, exploring one’s own limits, and opening a path where none seemed to exist before. Edurne reminds us that adventure does not always begin at the summit, but in the decision to keep moving forward.

Gaur, duela 16 urte, Edurne Pasaban Lizarribar alpinistak Sh**ha Pangmako gailurra zapaldu eta 14 zortzimilakoak osatu zituen, hori lortu zuen lehen emakume aitortua bihurtuz.
