Day 2 takes the walkers further west along the Costa del Sol, following the coastline towards the vibrant city of Málaga

The route passes long beachfront promenades, fishing areas, palm-lined walkways and busy seaside communities before finally arriving in the heart of Málaga for the evening.

As the scenery changes from quieter coastal stretches into the buzz of the city, the challenge starts to feel very real.

What happens when you combine sunshine, good people, plenty of laughter and a great cause?

An afternoon that raises €300 for animal rescue 🐾

A massive thank you to everyone who took part in our fundraising sports day and helped make it such a success.

Every euro raised helps support the incredible rescue organisations we’re walking 100km for this November.

The journey continues, the fundraising total keeps growing, and we’re one step closer to our next target of €15,000.

This week we’re raising a glass to Biddy Mulligans Irish Bar for supporting the Chaparral 7 charity walk! 🙌

Known for great pub grub, live music, huge sports nights and legendary Irish hospitality, Biddy’s is one of those places where there’s always a good atmosphere and a warm welcome waiting.

From breakfast through to evening entertainment, David Reilly and his team keep the good food, cold drinks and live sport flowing across their 20 big screens — all served with a side of Irish craic. 🍻

We’re proud to have local businesses like Biddy Mulligans helping support animal rescue charities here on the Costa del Sol.

Ocean views. Amazing food. Live music. And a business with a big heart.

A huge thank you to The Beach House Restaurant Marbella for supporting the Chaparral 7 charity walk.

Known as one of Marbella’s most loved beachfront dining spots, The Beach House offers everything from relaxed breakfasts and brunches to elegant dinners by the sea — all with that perfect laid-back beach club atmosphere.

But what makes their support even more special is their willingness to give back to the local community and help support animal rescue here on the Costa del Sol.

It’s easy to focus only on the heartbreak in animal rescue.

The wagging tails.
The puppies learning that humans can be kind.

ACE rescues dogs and cats from impossible situations every single week — but because of volunteers and donations, those stories don’t have to end there.

They get warmth.

DAY 1 BEGINS IN THE STUNNING TOWN OF NERJA AT THE FAMOUS BALCÓN DE EUROPA.

With the Mediterranean stretching out beside us as we take our very first steps west along the coast

The route takes us along cliffside coastal paths, beaches, hidden coves and traditional Andalusian seaside villages, with every kilometre walked helping raise funds for two incredible animal rescues.

From early morning sea views to the quieter coastal stretches approaching Torre del Mar, this first day is all about settling into the challenge ahead… and reminding ourselves exactly why we’re doing it ❤️
