Sometimes the best acts are the ones that are improvised and full of spontaneity. This is the only fully improvised act in our cabaret, because this is what this couple does best — and, at its essence, it’s what this dance is all about.

Cabaret act 6, Fever by
This performance is inspired by women artists, dancers, showgirls, and actresses of the early jazz era and the Harlem Renaissance. Although only limited materials have been preserved, what remains reveals a powerful sense of identity, authenticity, diversity, and richness, along with extraordinary performative skill, technique and presence that they transmit through the camera lens.

Emotionally, this piece is powered by the sweetest feelings that a person can bring to your heart, and luckily there are dance and music to express these emotions when words are not enough.

Cabaret act 5, Take Care of Business, by and Julie colemans

While watching last year’s performances at ESBF’s Cabaret, they were mesmerized and felt inspired to work towards a spot on this stage. At that time, they had just started working together. This is their third choreo, but the first one that covers a full song (first 60 second challenge, then 90 seconds challenge, now a 2 min song). They are excited to share it with you.
