And again, it is that time of the year when we go to Canencia hills to enjoy the beautifull colours of Autumn while hiking along the birch forest and several creeks, paying our annual visit to the 500-yo Yew tree and to some over 100-yo holly trees.

We are repeating it both on SATURDAY 2nd and on SUNDAY 3rd. No rain expected during the weekend.

Next weekend it's going to be summer hot. So even though it's October, we're going to take advantage of the heat (23-28º) to do two last hike & swim: on Saturday to the medieval town of Buitrago de Lozoya, and on Sunday to Pantano de San Juan exploring a new route and area.

This Sunday 21st we will do an EASY HIKE around the medieval town of Buitrago de Lozoya (the best example of a castle and medieval fortified town in the Community of Madrid) and along a nearby forest, with a potential swim (no rain expected on Sunday and between 20-22º).
