A tennis court is where the game of tennis is played. It is a firm rectangular surface with a low net stretched across the center. The same surface can be used to play both doubles and singles.

FIRST-WHAT IS TENNIS-Tennis is a sport played with just two players (which is called singles) or two teams that have two players each (which is called doubles). Each player uses a racquet, which is a handle with a neck joining, and a roughly circular frame that hold an array of tightly pulled strings. As for the tennis ball used is made out of hollow rubber with a felt coating, and the color is usually yellow. Tennis is normally played on a rectangular flat surface. The flat surface is normally grass, clay, or just a har-court made out of concrete. Tennis can be played indoors or outdoors. Another cool fact about tennis is that it originated in the Untied Kingdom in the late 19th century formerly as "lawn tennis" which had heavy connections to various field/lawn games. I think tennis s a very fun sport to enjoy and get exercise as well.
