The countdown is on until Walking Netball starts again! 🏐

But our team certainly haven’t lost touch over the summer. Last weekend, some of the group got together for an 80s night, and judging by the outfits, they definitely embraced the theme! 🎶💃

It’s been lovely seeing everyone staying in touch off court.

Now September is here, it won’t be long before the bibs are back on and we’re all together again.

Not long to go, ladies! 🏐💕

What a lovely summer break it’s been! ☀️💛

A few of us managed to meet up last week for a lovely evening meal.

Can you believe we’re nearly halfway through August already? 😲 That means it’s only a few weeks until we’re back together for Walking Netball in September! 🏐

We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone again and getting back on court. Enjoy the rest of the summer, ladies, September will be here before we know it! 💕

We may be on our July and August break, but some of our team in Spain are proving that summer is the perfect time to keep fit and keep in touch by playing other sports:

The bibs are taking a summer break. We are not.

Our pink and yellow Walking Netball bibs have been hung up for July and August. With the Spanish summer heat, that is probably just as well!

But the bibs were never what made us a team.

It is the friendships, the laughter, the coffees, the walks, the messages, and the way we stay connected long after the final whistle. Many of us will still be meeting up throughout the summer ...just somewhere cooler.

The bibs will come back out in September, and there will be one waiting for anyone who would like to join us.

Thank you Lynn Fisher for taking care of us and the bibs, it is really appreciated. ☺️

How is everyone enjoying these summer days? ☀️

We have to admit... we do miss Walking Netball! Are you missing it too?

What are you doing instead while we take our summer break? Walks, golf, swimming, coffee with friends, family visits, or simply enjoying a slower pace?

Last week, we took some time to shoot a few Walking Netball videos, which we'll be editing soon and sharing over the summer. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to help, we really appreciate it.

Well, that's a wrap for Walking Netball... at least for the summer! ☀️🏐

The courts are having some maintenance, so we've finished a little earlier than usual for July and August. BUT ...We'll be back in September, ready for another fantastic season together.

The good news is that many of us who are staying here over the summer are already making plans for walks, golf, coffees, and plenty of catch-ups. We're also planning to make some fun Walking Netball videos, so keep an eye on this page.

If you've been thinking about joining us, or you have any questions about Walking Netball, just send us a message. We'd love to welcome you when we return in September.

What are your plans for the summer? Are you staying here, or heading off to spend time with family and friends elsewhere?

This week Helen, and Sam bumped into each other on a local morning hike, with their four-legged friends joining in the adventure. 🐾🥾

Come and join us. You might start by learning a new sport, but you'll leave with a growing circle of friends.
